There's no "delay kara." If you try to kara on the 2nd or 3rd frame, you just get the button you pushed instead of kara throw / hayate.

One thing to note, you can also use cHK to Kara Hayate, it's not as practical as sMK because it won't hit, though will build ok meter on whiff. I recommended a friend who's still learning WFuki to use cHK Kara to Hayate x2 to get more used to the feeling of using HK to Kara and it seemed to help his consistency Kara-wise. Sa1 Mak's needn't bother imo unless of course they for some reason find it easier.

This and especially the kara fukiage stop me from trying the biggest combos, is there some video where you have the inputs in slow motion or even frame by frame so I can see how It goes? It feels really close to the standard cr lk => lp hayate combo, but when I Do It, It seems that the kick comes out at down forward and I just get a kick alone very often, looks hard to pull out on a PS3 controller. If you have any tip, they are welcome, but It is frustrating that I could pull a standing 720 after 20min on a character that I don't play, and not getting those tricks on my character.

@@Steevy84 Kara Fukiage and *nearly* all Karas in the game are back to back frames, so you press them where it almost feels like one input. On controller, it'd be: F, D, DF, return to N, and right as you let off the stick or dpad, you pull R2 just a fraction before pressing Square. If you have access to any SF4 that has input display in training mode, it's easy to tell when your input was good, it'd show HK, *then* HK+LP. If you press them 2 frames apart, it'd show HK and then only LP, so that would be a slow LP. If it shows just HK+LP, you were too fast on the LP press. Getting it consistent with controller is definitely a feel kind of thing, since Triggers can have some movement before actuation. Good luck! = )

@@telesniperXBL I use the lua training mode on fightcade, so you have every input and the number of frames you are holding them until release ( also digged out my PS3 from the dust yesterday, with 3rd strike online edition, will check if there are helpful options in training mode there). Thanks for the tips bro, now that I know this is a 1 frame trick, It looks like I have much more important things to focus on before I improve, and eventually get there, but I keep It in mind and will train It a bit, maybe your tip will help me figuring It out. Cheers
