какое огромное разнообразие техники уже в то время было на японском рынке! наша семья с простеньким видиком Akai даже представить не могла что такое Hi-Fi. чудом было уже - смотреть что хочешь
Surprisingly modern looking commercials from the late 70s and 80s! Sharp bright graphics, clean accurate green screen composites and effects. Also very catchy and creative, yet direct to the point. Decades ahead of western commercials of the same time period. American commercials were embarrassing compared to these.

Really interesting to see how smaller the VHS players and camcorders got throughout the 20+ years of evolution.

Those products look high tech and are quality build. They often have some very creative features, we used to have a Mitsubishi VHS player that has the dial on remote control to let you search back and forth. I miss the time when we rent a movie and just spent dedicated 2 hours to enjoy it.
Some of these have different model numbers or features, but they are similar to many of the Australian models I used to repair from the early 90's to mid 2000's. Some real quality models there, as well as a few not so good ones. National NV-G series were one of the most complicated mechanisms, but not too bad to repair when you put in the time to learn how to fix them. National NV250, 450 etc were some of the best videos ever built for reliability, along with Sanyo Beta machines. Mitsubishi were some of the worst until Korea started making VCR's in the late 80's. Love those 1980s adverts with the Hollywood movie and American pop music references.
