This young Hungarian trio makes us understand the difference between just hearing music and actively listening to music. The golden era of instrumental rock may be long gone, but to think that the genre is dead would be silly. How makrohang redefines the classic power trio format is through their unconventional influences, youthful vigor, and musical experimentation: their music ranges from hard rock to post-bop, from jazz to hip hop, from noise to minimal, and all over the board - oftentimes within a single song.
The group formed in 2013 and includes Gergely Nagy on guitar, Marcell Gyányi on bass, and Tamás Czirják on drums.
