MAKS 2019 ✈️ SU-35 HACKED PHYSICS! - HD 50fps

Today I reached 25K subs so here's a powerful video to celebrate!
The mighty Su-35 gravity-defying 'cheat-plane' with Sukhoi master test pilot Yury Vaschuk at the controls performs yet another mind-imploding flight demo featuring many extreme post-stall aerobatics that seem to bend the laws of physics to the will of the aircraft!

This was the Su-35 flight from August 30th at MAKS 2019 in Zhukovskiy at the Gromov Flight Research Institute. It wasn't my 'most inspired' day in filming and the footage is a bit shaky, I apologize. It's kinda difficult to follow a fighter jet speeding 600km/h straight above your head, hope you understand ;)
The Sukhoi Su-35 (Сухой Су-35; NATO reporting name: Flanker-E) is the designation for two separate, heavily-upgraded derivatives of the Su-27 air-defence fighter. They are twin-engine, single-seater, highly-maneuverable fighter aircraft, designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau and built by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association.
The first variant was designed during the 1980s as an upgrade of the Su-27, and was initially known as the Su-27M. This derivative made use of canards and had a multi-function radar that transformed the aircraft into a multi-role fighter jet. It was also structurally reinforced to support its heavier weight. The first prototype made its maiden flight in June 1988. The aircraft did not enter mass production at the time due to the collapse of the Soviet Union and therefore Sukhoi re-designated the aircraft later on as Su-35 to attract export orders. At the same time, the fourteen aircraft initially produced were used for tests and exhibitions; one example had thrust-vectoring engines installed, and the resultant Su-37 was used as a technology demonstrator. A sole two-seat trainer was also built in the late 1990s under the designation SU-35UB that strongly resembled the Su-30MK family.
In 2003, Sukhoi embarked on a second modernization of the Su-35 to serve as an interim aircraft awaiting the development of the Sukhoi PAK-FA (Su-57, previously T-50) program. Also known as Su-35, this derivative had a redesigned and highly modernized cockpit as well as an improved weapons-control system, it also featured thrust-vectoring engines (AL-41F1S, formerly AL-117S) in place of the omitted canards. The airbrake was gone and it used aerodynamic rudder brakes. The type made its first flight in February 2008. Although the aircraft was designed for export, the Russian Air Force in 2009 became the launch customer of the aircraft, the production version of which is the currently designated Su-35S. China's People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) is the sole foreign customer of the aircraft so far but other countries are reportedly in discussions with Russia about the possible purchase of the Su-35, among which is Indonesia, whose government is expected to sign a contract in the near future.

Stealth is a fad, aerodynamics are permanent, engineering perfection is an art this is a work of art being performed in front of our eyes. Not many know this but it was a Russian who invented stealth for aircraft quite a while ago. There's a reason why Russia invested in perfecting the engineering in an aircraft before stealth. If anyone is in any doubt compare the performance and armaments of a Russian aircraft compared to Western ones. Those figures of armaments alone will confirm the Russians made the right decisions.

@@culturedman1310 Because stealth requires you to sacrifice aerodynamics and even if you are near "invisible" like the F35 you are left reliant on a single strategy. Keep in mind, the F35 has sacrificed speed, maneuverability, carrying capacity, logistical viability, reliability(F35 burns off its stealth coating and breaks its antennas when it flies supersonic for more than 10 minutes, making its supercruise capabilities useless), and acceleration to achieve a high stealth performance which will be rendered obsolete as quantum entanglement radar enters mass adoption (EU already has the tech) The best you can do with stealth today is something like the SU 57: good frontal stealth that accompanies excellent aerodynamics and speed (basically its a stealth-hunter, not as good for attack but excellent for keeping your sky yours) I believe that the EU's FCAS is designed with the same strategy at mind. Basically the F35 is a tie fighter: a political and psychological weapon of suppression meant to be used to force project against weaker vassals that stand out of line and retain economic interests. While European and Russian planes are weapons of war: bullwarks against threats, especially if they are superpowers.

This is what happens when a fighter pilot joins the Bolshoi ballet. There are only two things I (slightly) dislike about this vid: 1) The sucky YT compression which gives ugly posterization 2) The skies are too clear, just a little bit of clouds would give a better reference for the motion of the plane. India should purchase at least 18 of these. We have 270+ SU30MKIs and they are good but SU35s seem to be in a different league. Regardless of what everyone says, that SU30MKI is now nearly as good as SU35 because of the upgrades over the years, SU35 is better in my opinion and the difference between them is significant enough to have at least one squadron of SU35

Su-30MKI is fitted with engine from 80's. It's good, but not really near AL-41F1S. Copilot is also a dead weight, also a concept from 80's. New radar is also worth it.

Why are US airshows now filled with lil prop planes and other non interesting stuff. Why can't there be more of the serious military hardware on show. Regardless of what country its from. We need to see more of the Su's and MiG's at US airshows, it will definitely bring in more crowds.

@@RePete02 With helmet mounted sight and the R-73/R-74 the slow speed maneuverability is a powerfull tool. The pilot can point the front of its plane on the target even without any kinetic energy at all and shoot it down. And radar guided missiles don't do well against slow targets. In BVR you want speed, but the slow speed handling is not useless when it gets to closer ranges.

@@Airguardian ну моё мнение по Су-30, крылышки тормозят полет планера и некрасиво смотрятся вообще! Как французский Рафаль по моему, если не ошибаюсь.
