Very nicely done, real neat to see a Mk. IX Hawk all built up for display. Don't let work get to ya!

Haha.. thank you my friend. I can see that I'll probably have a "hangar display" to make for this and the companion Eagle at some point, but for now, it was a fun ride. :) Take care!

Brilliant!! I thought I'd start mine (1 of 2 - both good price) before I start an assembly line for the squadron of Eagles I have accumulated. Just opened one of them and was disappointed to see it won't display 'nicely' with the Eagles as it is on the stand. Searching builds to see if any hiccups etc (KZbin is great for that and thanks to all who take/have the time to post videos) and found your video about Landing Gear!!!! Just what I need - an Idea and inspiration on how it could be done. Love the perfect placement for a 'tricycle' configuration. I guess I'm off designing and then see how I go with a 3d print effort. (no spare parts or the like) Great job and MANY thanks for taking the time to video, edit and post the build.

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it! that was exactly the same reason I went down that road, I wanted to display next to my Eagles and I don't have the "airspace" in my house. All I have is shelf-space. Good luck on yours!!!

Nice, still have to finish mine. I got the interior cockpit from shapeways. Plan on one led for main engine, one for the cockpit and one for the lazer.. How long did it take to do ALL the decals?!?!?!?

It took about 3 hours overall - I did spread it out over 2 night's work. In the end, I had to fiddle with them for a while though. These were just terrible to work with. I've done one of the big Eagles, the small Hawk and small Eagle - those transfers were nice. These, bleah, even with MarkFit strong. That's what took most of the time.
