Yes, thanks for catching that - I can't believe I didn't explain that. You don't really need it if you're doing the macrame below but I think I put it there out of habit. But yes, it is just a simple overhand knot or you could do a basic square knot, too.

Hello, I'm using .8mm nylon cording or you can use Chinese Knotting cord.

Where did you buy your fabric stretch cord and the beads

I did not buy these beads, but was repairing a piece for a customer. The cord I'm using is 1mm stretch cord with a fabric coating. I can't remember this specific brand since I've had the spool forever, but I'm sure Amazon would carry it. Again, this one in the video is 1mm in thickness.
