I know my comments fall years after your Malabar Farm walk through. As a child I lived near there and went to the Farm multiple times. It looks better in your video than it had when I used to go there. They've spent a lot of money on the place. When I was there it was in original condition. The cows where still there. It wasn't what your tour showed inside or out! There was no fee to walk through but the upstairs was off limits. And, all those celeb pics weren't there. They did lots of hollywooding. Was the carriage house still at the beginning of the driveway? Thanks for making the video... That and the old prison in Mansfield were the highlight of living there.

Thanks for watching even a few years later. It does seem they keep the place up and I am sure the little tourism money they get goes back into keeping the grounds looking good. Yes the carriage house is still at the driveway. There is also a big tourism building that I didn't show that explains his life in more detail. How long has it been since you were here? The prison still draws lots of people because of the Shawshank movie. They do haunted prison and 5k runs there every year. The big oak tree near malabar that was used in the Shawshank movie was struck by lighting and removed.

@@JuanCamacho21 the last time I was at Malabar was 1977. I wanted one last look before moving to California. I thought they tore the prison down and sold the farming land to developers. .... Glad to know it was there 3 years ago. I've been in it when it was still a prison ... Sociology professor got me in. Didn't have many occupants and those there were all trustees.
