I was astonished to discover that Bromfield started a farm here in Brazil towards the end of his life. When he became ill, he returned to the }USA, but the farm is still going strong with the grand-daughter of his Brazilian associate...Still called "Malabar"...

Multiflora Rose that they used for hedges is considered an invasive species now. It spreads everywhere by seed.
