We can tame common squirrels easily by providing food; but, it's tough to tame creatures at wildlife. For me, Malabar giant squirrels have been ever-fascinating to watch. The graceful blend of maroon and violet coloration on their backs, fluffy tails creamish at the tips, cute activity of feeding using both fore legs, white underparts forming super fabulous contrast with the body, their agility have been ever-enchanting for me. Here, courtship in the pair begins with the kissing and biting one another for a moment; running to and fro at few fts. distance; then repeating the same activity for a while. The pair is in shy as well as most exciting, cheerful mood at initial stage( little bit confused also for adapting the way to start and proceed as well; somehow, they have to initiate). When I saw the full video at You-tube, I really had goosebumps; bcoz, the viewer can clearly notice the expressions of large-sized animals such as big cats and others. But, these are tiny mammals hiding behind foliage and running here and there continuously in cheerful mood. However, after few minutes, both squirrels are concurred; are prepared to join and participate in the activity with absolute involvement; the emotions cannot be resisted in the long run. Finally, mating takes place which is so TREMENDOUS, so much stimulating while watching the ritual. Such a perfect, top quality shoot is captured by indigenous Photographer which is obviously rarest one. I can imagine how much patience it may require and ULTIMATE output is most influential and STUPENDOUS. Am so impressed to consider the passion and dedication of intellectual Photographer required for capturing such an INCREDIBLE activity which is unusually possible. Hats off many times!
