I can’t agree more. Ever since the border with Singapore opened on 1st April, I have been there 5 times! So much to see, so much to do and 🤤so much to eat!

You missed St Peter's Church (1710).... the oldest functioning church in Malaysia .. older than Christ Church. And you missed why St Francis statue was erected at St Paul's Hill... if you go in, you will see a metal caging with a large cavity... where the body of the saint was interned enroute from Japan to Goa as they needed to wait for the monsoon winds to change direction.

Wow, thanks for this additional info! Great to know. The next time I go to Malacca, will surely keep a lookout.

St Francis's right hand was cut down and sent to the Vatican. There is a legend that says a falling tree broke the right hand of the stature which coincidently mimics his body.

Thanks for watching. It’s Dutch and pronounced as Stad Hash. At least that’s what KZbin tells me. 😅
