While that is true, a deeper truth is in Christs' clues for this day, and time, in Matthew 7:16, "by the fruit of the tree shall you know them.." and "The Lord in the Gospel invites us to read the signs of the times, in order to know when He will come (cf. Lk 12: 54-59)". God gave us faculties to discern and reason, despite not knowing the exact time and day. In a broader context, it doesn't matter about time and day precision, in light of the above scripture readings.

Very interesting. It is so sad to see the state of the church since Vatican 2. John 23rd was disobedient, Paul 6 was a wrecking ball that destroyed the mass, John Paul 2 brought in the merging with false religions. All three lied about the 3rd secret, and furthered the destruction of the church, yet they were all canonized as "saints". How is this not mocking God?

From what I understand, the power of the Pope was removed and given to all the bishops during Vatican 11. This was done by the bishops who were not in-line with the magisterium. Pope John Paul 11 hands were tied and his power was removed. The enemy of the Catholic Church, those modernist Bishops wanted the pope to retire, but he would not, he spent most of his time traveling wanting to bring Jesus to as many people as possible.

@@maryheater7620 I read the comment, but I don't see anything that makes me feel JP2 was a saint. It would take too much time for me to explain why the Divine Mercy and Sister Faustina, which was forbidden 3 times by previous popes, and JP2's addition of additional mysteries to the rosary where NOT helpful. Do Novus Ordo Catholics pray the divine mercy or the rosary the most often? I think Blessed Mother was very clear about us to pray the rosary daily, and never mentioned the other. The Luminous Mysteries throw off the whole flow of the rosary, and also discourages people from praying the whole rosary. In past times, people prayed all three mysteries of the rosary daily. Only saying 5 decades was considered the "children's" rosary. True, Our Lady of Fatima only asked for 5 decades a day, but many Traditional Catholics, myself included, try to pray all 3. The Divine Mercy image has no Sacred Heart. We are supposed to have pictures of the Sacred Heart in our homes.

@@JB6802 After learning of our Blessed Mother's plea to pray the Rosary daily, I started. For a while I prayed the Luminous Mysteries, but it just didn't "feel" right or seem to fit. I no longer pray them. And there are very few days in which I do not pray the Diving Mercy Chaplet. One of my most worn out books is St. Faustina's Diary. I read portions of it daily.

Something happened to me too in 2017/2018. I was made aware of all my unconfessed sins. Went to confession and say my daily rosary ever since. It was a very powerful moment, but I thought it was just me! My faith revived drastically!

Right around that time as well--I pray the Rosary & other prayers daily (including ad-lib prayers, of course) and Confession at least every 2 to 3 weeks--HUGE revival of Faith--I pray Our Lord & Our Lady never let me go, and I pray for the conversion of MANY sinners, before it's too late. Same with me. It happened in 2004. I found a traditional Catholic priest through the traditio website and snuck out of my parents house on a Wednesday morning before my parents were even out of bed. I took a bus to the chapel, which was a long bus ride from my house and got to the chapel at the end of Mass. The priest noticed me and asked who I was and why I was there. After a brief interview, he heard my general confession of my past life since my baptism at 18. I then received Holy Communion because I had been fasting since midnight the night before. I knew that much from reading the Seven Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton. I have never looked back. I am ever extremely grateful to have met that priest that day when I was 23.

Yes, I have been faced with long forgotten past sins recently. I thought at first it was Satan tormenting me, but, at the same time felt I had to confess these pass deeds. It is so easy to forget our sinful ways, and if we don't work on them, they will indeed come back to haunt us, albeit, by the nudging of the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God for the Sacrament of Confession.

2017-2018 something happened to me a huge wake up moment as if I needed to prepare I was baptized as a child but my family fell away from the church...I just started going to all sorts of churches and kept asking and searching..it was if I needed to not give up to fill a deep hole...other churches didn't and I went into the Catholic church it was a NO church but I felt scared in that church my sins were overwhelming and realized I knew I was in the right place because of the fear...I was confirmed in 2020 at 50 years old and walked out of that church knowing I have had enough of the kumbaya and wanting something deeper more theology and more of talking about sin and not being told I was judgemental when it is the Bible that says so,I cried a lot at that church because I felt they were selling me something and I felt a sort of pagan feel as I went down that path my whole life and recognized it...I'm at another church and it's better...I've been to the Latin Mass and was floored I cried the whole time and was FULL...it's a drive for me in a older vehicle but one day I will make that happen maybe fine a ride share but when Anthony mentioned 2017 ya something BIG happened I will never forget it!

Something happened to me too at that time! I was made aware of all the sins I did not recognize at the time. I went to confession and felt a huge relief and been saying the daily rosary ever since. Today is the first time I've heard this time frame mentioned! God is good. Look how the world has plummeted since that time frame! I thought it was just me! It was powerful and unmistakable!

@@matthewalexander2436 when I finally walked into the Catholic church I watched a lot of Dr Marshall and Kennedy report along with Dr. Stein and started learning Latin a bit and started saying rosary daily...going to confession the 1st time in 50years took about 11/2+ hours but go every month and obligation days now! Years ago, I had an illumination of conscience. All my sins ever committed flashed before my mind's eye. They were clear and in full color. All people, all the places flashed before my mind's eye like a film strip. It was quite an amazing moment in my life. All I could do is watch. I wasn't able to move my body at the time that this was taking place. By the way I was standing when my conscience was illuminated. Don't wait until our Lord eliminates your conscience via The Warning. Take advantage of the great gift of the sacrament of confession. I believe many people will die if this takes place, The Illumination of conscience. The sorrow and pain will be too much to survive.

I had a similar illumination,I wasn't Allowed to see God, but I did see His Majesty and everything He encompassed...it's too long to write, story short,I was infused with many truths of the Faith,catechised,healed in many forms,and He allowed me to feel the abyss without Him...hell. My brain was rightly ordered, a complete metanoia...and the veil was off my eyes..He instilled in me, how I must live and the emphasis was on daily Eucharist and Confession+ that supernatural experience was in 2014+!!!

I’m one of the people who wrote to Christine Watkins about my experience with illumination of conscience. It happened about about 2 yrs ago. I had recently returned to the Church (after 12 yrs away) a very broken person due to my daughter’s recent death (and reasons too long to explain here). I had begun spending a lot of time in prayer alone outside, crying out to God in my misery. He heard and responded - NOT the way I expected but how I needed. One night God showed me myself from His perspective. I saw and sensed my soul, discolored and streaked with blotches of varying size, shape and intensity, and had a general sense of oily filth and darkness. If I died then (and I had come close more than once), I knew I’d be damned. It was a punch in the gut that doubled me over and stole my breath. Later, thinking the illumination of conscience had occurred, I ran inside and asked my family if they had experienced it, too. They just looked at me confused. It was hard to deal with what I’d seen in the weeks that followed. Though I immediately went to confession, my first reaction was brooding self-hatred and loathing. I could easily have remained that way (or worse) if Jesus hadn’t intervened. In the midst of my despair one night, He demanded to know by WHAT RIGHT did I hate the soul that He had SUFFERED and DIED to save??? This was the second half of the illumination, I believe, because I looked again at my soul with Jesus by my side this time and saw my soul as if it belonged to someone else. Though I still saw and felt the stains, I also saw struggling goodness, terrible suffering and pain. My self-hatred melted and was replaced by compassion. I have devoted a great deal of time since then (with guardian angel assistance) to purging sin, deep prayer and devotion, and spiritual improvement through frequent confession, traditional mass attendance and the Eucharist. I’ve also become far closer to Jesus and Mama Mary. Though I’m not like the person I was, I remain acutely aware of how easily I could return to that condition…or worse. It’s why I appreciate the way my guardian Angel keeps showing yet more sin. It feels very much like Whack-a-Mole, but through it I’ve learned much about carrying your cross and following Jesus. What I find most interesting, though, is not my personal struggle but how many people have experienced something similar over the past 20 years. God’s methods may vary a bit with each one, but I think that’s because He knows us each so well. I think it’s just possible that He’s placing people strategically to help others when the general illumination hits. It’s not an easy process after all. Based on what I’ve gone through, I can well imagine that not all will survive.

@@markdurkin8425 As I said, I believe some people are being singled out for illumination ahead of time so that there will be people in place to help others when the general illumination hits. I could be wrong, but it’s the only explanation that makes sense to me. If your experience was anything like mine, I know it’s a LOT to process. Step one, however, is GO TO CONFESSION, especially if you haven’t been in a long time. Since I’m now attending trad masses, confession is anonymous…which helps…since I’m there so frequently now. After confession, pray, attend mass, go to communion…and PRAY THE ROSARY. Our Lady has helped me sort things out this way. It might be worth considering an Ignatian retreat with general confession on the last day. That way you can start at the beginning and wipe the slate clean all at once. Follow it up with a book to help you meditate on your life, analyze and clear away the deep seated stuff. I used “Our Daily Bread” by Paone, then “Imitation of Christ” by Kempis to start. If your initial reaction was like mine (self-hatred), remember that being shown yourself this way is a BLESSING, and that Jesus loves your soul so much He suffered and died to redeem it. As to getting help through your guardian angel, please don’t give him a name, but DO address him as “good angel” or “Angel of God.” Reason? According to Fr. Ripperger, most of us have a good angel (assigned by God) and a bad one (assigned by Satan). If you don’t specify, you could be talking to the wrong one! I started asking mine questions about 2 years ago. 500+ answers later, I’m a believer that it works. Even so, VERIFY anything you believe you were told through solid Catholic sources. I don’t accept anything as gospel truth until it’s been verified at least 3 ways (such as the writing of a Saint, a Bible passage, a passage from Baltimore catechism, a passage from my Catholic missal or prayer book, something a truly holy priest said in a talk or sermon). Hope this is helpful, but please do ASK anything else you need to know. I’m happy to share, though I do recommend doing your own research as well.

Anthony, Malachi Martin is a priest for our times, undoubtedly. Thank you for doing such a good job informing and balancing the interpretations of such a startling and penetrating vision. As you suggest, the "self-destruction" of the organizational Church, under many aspects, seems to be well under way. My own impression-especially in the light of Christ's saying, "I will be with you all days until the end of the world" and also of an "apostolic" understanding of the Mystical Body of Christ as a permanent witness in time and space-is that there will be a revitalization of union with God among the baptized (the TRUE, nonpolitical meaning of ecumenism) whereby the END (finality) of Christian faith will efficaciously define the means and enlighten all believers as to the correct use of all the means of sanctification. The laity would thus become the agents of renewal-as Archbishop Sheen believed-through their spiritual and moral authenticity, which would inevitably lead the way to a restoration of the Magisterium, divine worship, and behavior. I believe this process of mystical regeneration has already begun, precisely as a response to the darkness threatening to engulf humanity.

Fr Martin was born about 30 miles from me here. In that place there is an old ruin Lislaughtin Abbey. In that church priests were murdered by English soldiers by the altar. I think it was five friars. Such a place makes a soul sober.

@@carolbaughan8768 During the siege of nearby Carrigafoyle Castle in 1580, the abbey was twice raided by Elizabethan forces. Three friars, Daniel Hanrahan, Maurice Scanlan and Philip O’Shea, were unable to make their escape and were beaten to death in front of the high altar. The friary was sacked and the buildings were destroyed. - it is a place of solitary beauty now whose ruins have been sanctified by innocent blood. No doubt the friars forgave. There is peace there.

I met Marino Restreppo back in 2008 in a series of conferences he gave, one of which was his detailed illumination of conscience. I believe him to be very authentic and a true prophet. His detailed illumination can be found all over KZbin. As far as an illumination all will experience at once, who knows? Only God will decide if we are deserved of that, as a collective. I do know that there are many people who have had individual authentic illuminations. I was so fortunate to have had this grace, I turned from a hardened sinner who was completely chained to my sins, and have since maintained an austere Catholic life without backsliding for 15 years now. It was terrifying, I did not deserve it. Many people must have prayed for me. I must say that I did cry out to God for help, as authentically as I was able to in my pitiful state one day. I was buried in the consequence of my many sins. I didn’t know what else to do or where to go. I prayed the Rosary for many days until the illumination took place and left me a new heart. It is possible, Lord have mercy!

Interesting, about some saying they’ve had this “Illumination of conscience”. I would say, then, I had it when the Churches locked us out! That’s when I knew it wasn’t Catholic! I found a SSPX Chapel that wasn’t locked. I’m growing in my Faith, more than ever…just by going to the Latin Mass on Sundays! It’s amazing what that one hour of true worship does to a soul! Bingo! The establishment Novus Ordo had no faith, they feared death rather than minister to the sick and dying. The SSPX on the other hand the only ones who continued to minister, along with a handful of other non-SSPX priests

After praying the novena to Our Lady of Fatima, May 13, 2017, Our Lady told me interiorly, You Must Do Your Part. She was gentle, yet stern. I wrote that quote immediately in my missal. I believe in the illumination of conscience spoken here and also even referenced in the diary of Saint Faustina On another note people that adore our Lord Eucharistically and frequently if not daily also begin to experience the effects of an illumination of conscience because it is our Lord‘s divine mercy and grace that begins to reveal the beams in eye. Jesus gave us his real presence for this reason and so many more so that he could care for us Please take time to adore Lord in the real presence in the Blessed Sacrament and allow him to care for your life and your family’s life in ways that you could not comprehend.

The warning not leading to conversions makes perfect sense. After all, the Pharisees had the illumination of conscience of God incarnate in front of them and they did not convert. Given the ability of humanity to endlessly justify our sins, we'll find a way to dismiss it despite the agonizing evidence in front of our faces.

Thank you very much for this excellent video, Dr. Stine! I, too, cannot imagine that it won't lead to conversions! Perhaps peoples' hearts are so hard, that they will tell themselves (& stupidly believe it) that it was just a "mass hallucination". I don't know. No, it didn't happen in 2017. Everyone really WOULD know. This did happen, over a several year span, to certain individuals, but not en masse. My own was in '96, and it was not even a complete illumination, but only partial, touching on a point of Doctrine that I (a new Catholic, att) had been genuinely confused about. Suddenly, I simply KNEW. I also knew how sinful I had been and the devastation cannot be described. I sobbed myself to sleep for 2 or 3 months, then, despairingly, I offered my life to God. I told Him I had nothing but that to give him. Oh, I did not want to die, though! I had suffered 10 known miscarriages, and was glorying in the bliss of *finally* being the Mother of 2 beautiful, living children. My life was so full of joy...no, I didn't want to die. But, I couldn't think of anything else to offer. I heard an interior voice ask me, "Why not LIVE for Me, instead?" I understood immediately that it would take more courage to live, than to die. That I could do Penance. I was so full of joy that I would be allowed to live and love my babies. I didn't find out until years later that part of what happened to me was that I had received infused knowledge regarding my earlier doctrinal confusion. Yes, if there is to be an Illumination, it will be AWFUL. You will want to die of horror and shame for having sinned against our so Holy God! Go to Confession! If you can, make a General Confession. - a very, very good, thorough one! Do not leave out even *one* single sin! It does not hurt to reconfess already confessed ones, as this induces much humility. The SSPX has a very long Examination of Conscience. Find it. Write them down as you remember those sins! I did so. It took over an hour of very rapid talking, no explaining, no excuses, no details, and almost no breathing, to make mine. Ask Our dear Lady to help you remember! DO PENANCE NOW...while you can! We pay, here on Earth, a mere farthing in Penance compared to what we will pay in Purgatory, praise God in His Mercy!🙏

For all those mentioning 2017... I had a similar experience. It wasn't the moment that changed me for good, but it had a profound impact on me and marked a major juncture in my spiritual conversion. A number of Christians (mostly Protestants, not surprisingly, being very tentative to scripture) pointed out that Revelation 12 was being fulfilled on September 23, 2017. Look it up. The explanation was/is fascinating. I'm sure it wasn't yet "the Warning," but perhaps 2017 was a wake-up call for a handful of us. Anyway, I am pretty convinced that it was a major sign to signal the End Times, and that Our Lady plays a huge role in this. Do whatever you can to grow closer to the Mother of God who will surely protect us in these days. She is ever so relevant. As stubborn as I am with my spiritual life, I am absolutely convinced that she has been calling to me in many ways over the past few years, especially -- the above-mentioned was a big one. I just need to remember these moments lest I forget to call home to Mom to tell her I love her.

Malachi Martin has never been so relevant as he is today. We can easily see who are the leading commentators in the ranks of Traditional Catholics by their attitudes toward MM. Anthony, you are definitely one of those important influencers by the degree to which you get what Malachi Martin was trying to tell Catholics about the perilous times in which they were living and the existential crises of soul that they would personally experience amidst the days of darkness and diabolical aggressions never before inflicted on the world. None of us will be bystanders and spectators when all this horror happens; Instead, we will be embattled, besieged and pushed to the very limit of endurance as God forcefully confronts us with our sins and their infinite offense to Him. How desperately will we seize this very last moment to accuse ourselves of wrong-doings we long held back from confessing due to shame and hypocritical excuses, lest only a few seconds more leave us dead in our trespasses and damned forever. Pray Our Lady for the grace that quickens our accounts of everything we have done amiss before the light of illumination runs out. Rehearse in your mind daily how you will readily recite the misdeeds you ask forgiveness for, exactly as heaven shows you them in clear, but rapid sequence. Anticipate with great joy that when you emerge from the days of darkness ordeal you discover it has become nearly neurologically impossible, perhaps permanently, for you to ever again to be seduced or tempted by what was morally unthinkable prior to the Sexual Revolution that corrupted the character of so many Catholics and especially their Clergy and Religious, beginning in the early 1960's. You will have been arduously, but securely, initiated into the dimension of purity and its bliss.

I seem to have a problem with Pope John Paul 2. He knew of the corruption in the church and how predator priests were being shuffled around, but yet he would say to priests who tried clean the church that there is no way for him to remove these predator bishops, priests etc.. He also had the chance to reveal the Secrets of Fatima but he did not. He may have travelled the globe like no other Pope, but he did not clean house our carry out what our Lady asked. I understand that God's plan is not always something we can understand.... but it's hard to look at the outcome in a positive way.

Great , on fr Martin. I have all the Bernard Janzens interviews in book form . Fr Martin was a Vatican insider, things were bad in Rome and JP 2 was convinced that Mary was coming with the angels on his watch. Fr Martin left Rome and landed in NY. He was a top exercist. Ha married and said his mass every day. Considered controversial like many. Mark Berg. Oldest uncle of Fr John Berg FSSp. I’m 85, and was there. And yearn for the mass of the ages. I wonder sometimes how the timeline will play out. For example, how the physical church will shrink to the size of a mustard seed (Ratzinger) but also how the priests will be unable to leave the confessional even for meal breaks after The Warning as the lines will be so long. For that to happen, mass transit and automobile travel will need to be "a thing" in countries like the US where we most of us can't easily walk to church. I figure the world will have to go through a lot of calamities first before it gets to that point and who knows if we will be around to see it, but it could come like a thief in the night. I've read a sample version of the book that Christine Watkins compiled. I think it's available through Catholicity for the price of shipping. The scaled-down copy was floating around our parish library and contained 3 or 4 testimonials. Whether it's a private warning or a general one, it's enough to leave anybody shaking in their boots. It reminds me of the Apostle Paul and when he had his conversion.

In regard to how this event won't lead to conversion on a grand scale the only thing I can come up with is from the Bible when the man asks Abraham to get Lazarus to give him water. When Abraham tells him he can not and that there's a great chasm between them he asks if Lazarus can go tell his family of hell and warn them. Abraham tells him they have Moses and the Prophets but the rich man says they will not listen to them and Abraham answered if they will not listen to Moses and the Prophets than they will not listen to one risen from the dead. Sadly there are people who will not listen. For those who believe no proof is necessary. For those who do not believe no proof is possible. I hope that's not the case though. I pray many may souls will be converted.

Anthony there are many seers speaking of messages they receive from Heaven, either Our Lady, St. Michael, Jesus and occasionally God the Father, that are pointing out what the faithful must look for. Father Malachi has an amazing foresight and is worth contemplating. We can see the signs all around us that we are destroying ourselves, not just in the Church but in society as well. Pray much. Pray often. Be converted.

I believe the Great Warning will happen. Too many mystics have shared the message. St. Padre Pio believed it would happen, I believe. I think that it's an expression of God's great mercy to mankind. I'm praying that I am ready when it happens. It is recommended that we keep ourselves free of mortal sin and if we do, please go to confession so that when the Illumination of Conscience takes place, that those who have mortal sin on their souls will suffer terribly. I'm sure it will be troubling for those with venial sins on their souls. You will have to choose which way you will go; with God or with the evil one. Then the purification will happen, shortly thereafter.

Im watching every video on this topic that I can find. I have been praying for guidance and many things have come my way. A church, these videos, a call to confession and communion, and whatever sort of service i can be. But the biggest pull is the Warning about our collective hearts. That we have fallen away from our spirituality and followed the world. I am chief among the sinners. When these things happen, it will be too late. We will see what we have created. It was Father Malachi Martin's KZbin videos, like his interviews with Bernard Jansen, that put me on the path to the Latin Mass, only, and my love of Our Lady of Fatima and the message she gave to those children, Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco. Here's one thing she said that shook me up real good. Mary, Our Lady, told Lucia that, "Yes, Francisco would go to heaven, but he had to say many rosaries." Now here is a child of nine, who as far as I can tell from reading about Fatima, was not such a bad lad. If he had to say "many rosaries" then I have to say untold rosaries if I to meet Francisco in Heaven.

That is my conviction too. I thought to be canonised one had to show a HIGH degree of SANCTITY. Since vat2, what pope has risen to this level?? I don’t know what it means, maybe just a sign of something. Once last March, early April, I was driving home from work (I work the 2nd shift.) I was driving on the highway and above me, in front of my car, I seen some lights that were in the shape of a cross. They were white lights, clear. They were up there between 5/10 seconds. Then they went out. I’ve seen other things, UFO’s and stuff like that. I don’t know what it means or if it means anything. Listening to this video just reminded me of it.
