This is TRUE unadulterated GOSPEL singing! No talent show try out, Not singing based on talent, riffs, runs, vocal acrobatics. They stood flat footed & sang for GOD, NOT for TV ratings, but for God not man . You can feel the anointing of the HOLY GHOST on this song. It brings tears of joy to my soul. Glory! I got to go shout!

All of james Clevelands music reminds me of my grandparents. They've passed away years ago but these harmonies resonate deep into my soul that makes them feel much alive and in the spirit with me everytime I hear these soulful melodies. It's a certain nostalgia you feel from these songs that are truly undescribable, you can only feel the soul in it. This is not done by listening to the words on a literal basis, but by feeling the voices , tunes , melodies , soul, etc . At a deep visceral level

I grew up in the 60s and 70s and these were the songs of that era, my grandfather was Chrm of Deacon board, our church was considered a large church we had about 650 people in church on Sunday, and our choirs were huge, our Pastor was in the Mayor's cabinet, today that same church has about 50 members, a new Pastor, choir is not huge, those great organists have gone to be with the lord, matter fact most of that church had died, but they did anthems , hymns, traditional gospel , some contemporary, and it was a joy to be at that church on Sunday morning , good singing, excellent musicians, great pastor who could preach, I long for those days, don't ask me why I left the church, but haven't been back since I buried my mom
