When I watched "Period. End Of Sentence." on Netflix I was very surprised and amazed. I had no idea that somewhere in the world girls won't go to school because of their periods. How they are ashamed of it. Even grown women struggle. They won't be able to buy the products of first need, pads and tampons. That's there so much stigma around it. We have no idea how privileged we are, so we must spread awareness.

I don't know if it is still an issue, it was about 4 to 7 yrs ago. I get what Lily is doing with women's empowerment we've been seeing alot of negative reviews on her show. I think if she harasses the power in an interview like this for her future work, she can really come out shining. Ah! Los Angeles. Was it really necessary for her to fly all that way just for a 5 minute interview? In my opinion, Malala is an intellegent, charming self-effacing prety person who does not take herself too seriously. Her family and friends would soon tell her if she thought herself better than them. What I don't like is the way interviewers are obsequiously fawning on her, especially those on the North American continent. I hope British interviewers don't do that so she gets a respite from it. I had a reply from the Malala Fund saying she couldn't reply to a question as she is foucussing on her education. In that case, what is/was she doing in the US? I hope she is still proud to be a Brummie. I cringed when the audience started whooping on certain answers. But that's American culture for you.
