When I watched "Period. End Of Sentence." on Netflix I was very surprised and amazed. I had no idea that somewhere in the world girls won't go to school because of their periods. How they are ashamed of it. Even grown women struggle. They won't be able to buy the products of first need, pads and tampons. That's there so much stigma around it. We have no idea how privileged we are, so we must spread awareness.

yes, and about 4 or 7 yrs ago I saw a video about Fistula were young women were dying from Fistula Saturday, May 23, is the Int'l Day to End Obstetric Fistulas. I don't know if it is still an issue, it was about 4 to 7 yrs ago. Doctors without borders were very involved on the issue. kzbin.info/www/bejne/haiWqnp4ftN6nMk Treating Obstetric Fistula at Aberdeen Women's Hospital kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3zOZnyIiphlaqs Treating women with respect, dignity whole care approach. Just unreal what they lived through, and North American women aren't aware what happens in other parts of the world.

Greta is young but so important and wonderful. What she’s doing is incredible, especially since she’s so young. Of course, she still has things to learn. We all do. But what annoys me the most is that the very people who are telling her to go back to school are the very people who need to learn the most because in my opinion, it seems they lack any basic common sense and knowledge and yet they are people in power.

BoulderPM Are you serious? When has she accused children of ruining the earth? She hasn’t. She is accusing adults. And frankly, it’s not her duty to look after children that don’t belong to her. And sometimes, protecting children will mean also scaring them in the process. But her goal is to save the Earth. She’s not concerned about making a few children cry. She’s targeting adults in power. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about so I recommend not continuing to reply.
@xsatellax
@xsatellax 4 жыл бұрын
BoulderPM You clearly don’t listen. I already said she’s not talking to children. She’s not directing her speech at children. So everything in her speeches is not specifically for children. And I don’t know what children you’re talking about. Children her age and above aren’t going to get scared or be alarmed. And children younger wouldn’t even understand what she’s talking about.

She is such an inspirational figure, she doesn’t know how much impact at such a younger age does for people growing up, people May forget but I definitely won’t. Anyone can make a change in this world, she’s strong enough to take the bullet for rights and equality

I really doubt her ....she claims to have done so much ...but... Why she never ever speaks for the girls.being kidnapped and forcefully converted. . in her own country??. Why she blocks the account of people who asks to raise voice for if......I think we need to stop being sheep

This is fucking amazing. I wish there were more cool brown women like this for Lily to interview. I get what Lily is doing with women's empowerment we've been seeing alot of negative reviews on her show. I think if she harasses the power in an interview like this for her future work, she can really come out shining. Lily's got a lot of talent on her own that sometimes I think brown people don't give her credit for. And now thinking outside of impersonating your parents and wearing wigs to depict white people, what are things like this she can tap into? Cuz I'm sure as hell Lily is growing as a person. And Russell Brand showed a really amazing side of himself with his spirituality. I would love to see more awesome facets of Lily Singh and her become DAMN succesfful more than she EVER HAS before for it.

Ah! Los Angeles. Was it really necessary for her to fly all that way just for a 5 minute interview? In my opinion, Malala is an intellegent, charming self-effacing prety person who does not take herself too seriously. Her family and friends would soon tell her if she thought herself better than them. What I don't like is the way interviewers are obsequiously fawning on her, especially those on the North American continent. I hope British interviewers don't do that so she gets a respite from it. I had a reply from the Malala Fund saying she couldn't reply to a question as she is foucussing on her education. In that case, what is/was she doing in the US? I hope she is still proud to be a Brummie. I cringed when the audience started whooping on certain answers. But that's American culture for you.

I hope she buys Greta Thunberg's book. I mean actually spend money in the UK to purchase it and not have it given to her. Yes, I really do like her. It appears also her smile is getting more even.
