+Ben Alexander She actually seems to be at graduate level at 17 so she got a better education than most Americans, plus she was taught to speak English. And she seems to have had public speaking training also because she speaks like someone who has been giving speeches forever and she knows to repeat important points for emphasis. Not many people can speak like a professional speaker at 17.

+Ben Alexander u know why, because what happened in her life was a major event that changed her 100%, she became more wisdom and more appreciative of life , just something to think about
@shahzaibzafar9469 жыл бұрын
+Ben Alexander - Her maturity comes from self experiencing the problem and also having full awareness of human rights. She is not trained in public speaking. With that Thrust behind her - public speaking is a small piece of puzzle. Many Pakistanis fall in this category. Their inventive work is not less than Malala's. City's spirits and structure is held together with people's innovation and will - with zero engagement of the Govt. She also represents that Birth face of A very young country - Pakistan (which is now disfigured in the recent past)

It says something about America when most of our youths hate going to school, loathe it really. Then this young lady is fighting for education so hard that when she gets shot in the face, she survives, and continues to advocate for education. My generation could learn a lot from her, and we're the same age.
@katieford13279 жыл бұрын
I think what (at least in my school) is the problem is that children don't realize what an education means. In my small town you really don't need an education, just a well-known last name. I believe why so many kids hate going to school is because they've no idea what life is like without one- how much more difficult it is.
@adambrassard62779 жыл бұрын
Most of the problem isn't the education itself, it's the public school system. The schools don't present the information in a way that makes learning enjoyable, for everyone at least. A lot of it is that the schools are run like a business and don't really care for the students, except the few good teachers. Another problem is that the society we are in tells us that it's wrong to be "nerdy," and getting good grades or actually paying attention in class equates to being "nerdy." To be honest though, I think it's more society's fault.

I love how proud her dad is, and it looks like this fight she is taking on is a piece of him. Listen only to her voice, and none of the comments politicians made/make on her behalf. She is saying what she means, and needs no assistance in voicing her opinion. Just seeing how strong she is since the videos of her being a scared girl in Pakistan, and now she is completely certain and comfortable in her opinion and what she believes in is so impressive and beautiful. The smile on her dads face says it all.

It is so Wonderful, that a 17 years old girl knows how to improve the world and not just like the other teenagers who find time of taking selfies, finding a new trend for a minute of popularity and all that stuffs...even I, do the same thing, of just taking selfies and wasting my time not wandering that in other parts of the world there are still teenagers, kids and women who suffers greatly in lack of education. I have no idea that a teenage girl would be able to speak out her voice for a Big change! :) And I...coming from a Third World Country, people especially youngsters like me, must do something meaningful to others. We must care for others, whatever life status they have or culture they live. the World is not getting better. Respect! Peace!

taking a selfie does not mean that an individual doesn't care about what goes on in the world. I take selfies and do most things girls my age do, but I also am a feminist and I know a lot about gender equality, sexualization and sexism. However discriminating other 17 year olds for not understand things about the world, is not their fault at all. Which is exactly why people should be speaking out, so girls and boys do have an understanding. It's not that they ignore it, it's that they're not aware. Remember that.

I, as a woman, as a person with the same age as her, would not have the courage to achieve her feats in a islamic country, in a country filled with talibã threats, Guns, actions. She saw and survived bombings, she lived in a City where cars patrolled the streets with machine guns. She knew the Danger, the conviction on their death threats. She lived the terror everyday. I think Malala is an inspiration for all women and men no matter what age to always strive for better and to not take education for granted, no matter where you are 🙏🏼 her father should be an inspiration to all Muslim men, for always standing behind his daughter and supporting her no matter what. This also shows us that is is not only important to educate women but also men. We always see people in third world countries as backwards, but why is that? Because we with our societies MAKE them that way. They need help and education and I know we all think we can’t make a big difference, but everybody CAN make a small difference and if we all do that, these small changes can become big. 💪🏼

"I had two options. One was to remain silent and wait to be killed, and the second was to speak up and then be killed. I chose the second one, I decided to speak up". What a beautiful mind and heart. And how fucked up our world is, when a person can be driven to the conclusion that they only have these two options.

'Countries' don't create the problems, the people who RUN those countries are the problem. Don't believe Donald Trump or Vlad Putin are the problem, it is the people in the background pulling the strings who are to blame. Rothschild bankers, mega-corporations and wealthy oligarchy are the problem on this planet, not 'countries'. Countries are merely areas of land with borders agreed at international level. Have you ever seen 'America' or 'Russia' pick up a gun and shoot?
@ilikemetal29106 жыл бұрын
Poo Tube at least Donald brought peace.
@ilikemetal29106 жыл бұрын
Poo Tube also, you seem like a conspiracy theorist am I right? Mega-corporations (which are not real, they're just corporations) depend on the government, it's not the other way around. There is also no wealthy oligarchy, if I were to become part of the 1% I wouldn't all of a sudden be teleported to a room where I control the world and if I were to get out of the 1%, what will they do? Delete my memories? There is no people pulling any strings and there is no such thing as the corporations you describe that control the world. You sir, are a lunatic.

+Ashley Montana YET SHE STILL SUPPORTS ISLAM THAT CONTAINS THE HATE OF MUHAMMAD FOR WOMEN ,... SHOULD WE JUST IGNORE THAT STOCKHOLM SYNDROME ? " THE TRUE MESSAGE OF ISLAM " IS ENSLAVING AND DESTROYING ESPECIALLY WOMEN AND CHILDREN .... ISLAMS VALUES DIRECTED BULLETS AT HER HEAD ...B NOW SHE IS STILL PROMOTING MUHAMMAD .... NOT TO KNOW ... NOT TO NOTICE... NOT TO SPEAK UP IS TO ASSIST THE DECEPTION SHE SAYS SHE IS FIGHTING FOR A CAUSE ,,, FOR CHILDREN WHO WANT PEACE AND CHANGE TO STAND UP FOR THERE RIGHTS ... OK THEN STOP PROMOTING PEDOPHILE WARLORD OF DECEPTION AND HATE MUHAMMAD .... WE DIDNT LET LANCE ARMSTRONG OFF THE HOOK FOR CONTRADICTING HIMSELF BUT NOW WE ARE SUPPOSED TO PRETEND ISLAM HAS EVER BEEN ABOUT WOMAN'S RIGHTS ? I SUPPORT EDUCATION FOR WOMEN WHICH IS WHY I OPPOSE ISLAM ... SHE IS NOT BEING TRUE TO REALITY ... SHE IS STILL REMAINING SILENT BUT ONLY ADDRESSING BOOKS AND NOT THE ONES THAT TEACH OPPRESSION OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN ... SHE IS SUPPORTING THE DECEPTION SHE IS REPEATING THE SAME GAME AS G W B AND OBAMA THE " INNOCENTS " OR AS SHE SAID ONLY APPLY TO MUSLIMS FOLLOWING AGREEING W/ MUHAMMAD'S PEDOPHILIA / OPPRESSION SEX SLAVERY / BEHEADING WOMEN ETC ... PRETENDING MUHAMMAD WHO BEHEADED AND RAPED WOMEN AND CHILDREN / TORTURED PEOPLE TO FIND LOCATION OF TREASURE KILLED DOGS RAPED ANIMALS ROBED AND ABDUCTED PEOPLE ETC IS " MERCIFUL " ... MUHAMMAD HIMSELF BEHEADED A WOMAN IN THE OLDEST BIOGRAPHY OF HIM ... BEHEADED HER FOR LAUGHING ... CAN WE GET REAL YET ? WOMEN PRAISING MUHAMMAD ARE LIKE JEWS PRAISING HITLER..;. THE POVERTY SHE SPEAKS OF AND SUICIDE BOMBINGS ARE ACCORDING TO MUHAMMAD'S FALSE PROMISES AND CONDONING CHILD MARRIAGE AND INBREEDING ... IT IS DISHONEST TO OPPOSE CHILD MARRIAGE THEN TO CALL MUHAMMAD " MERCIFUL " WHEN HE RAPED AND MARRIED CHILDREN ... PAKISTAN HAS HIGHEST GOOGLE SEARCHES FOR CHILD SEX AND ANIMAL SEX ... TAKE A WILD GUESS WHO DID AND SIGNED OFF ON THAT ? A: MUHAMMAD ... MANDELA WAS A MURDERING COMMUNIST AND M L K WOULD HAVE AS WELL BEEN ENSLAVED OR KILLE4DE BY MUHAMMAD WHO WO0ULD NO MORE EDUCATE BLACKS THEN WOMEN ,... CAN WE GET HONEST YET ? ANOTHER VERSION OF GIVING PEDOPHILE TERRORIST MUHAMMAD A TERRORIST PEACE PRIZE ... STOP DECEIVING AND BLAME WHERE IT BELONGS : MUHAMMAD AND HIS ISLAM ... ULTIMATE IRONY : EVERYTHING SHE COMPLAINS AQBOUT IS WHAT ISLAM IS BUT HER PLEA IS FOR EVERYONE ELSE TO CHANGE NOT FOR ISLAM TO BE ABOLISHED .... NO ONE DOES MORE VIOLENCE3 AND OPPRESSION THAN ISLAM ... IF SHE WERE SERIOUS ABOUT " LAST TIME " SHE WOULD NOT BE ADVOCATING FOR ISLAM ,,, NOTICE WAFA SULTAN TELLS THE TRUTH BUT NO ONE CARES ABOUT THAT BECAUSE VIT DOENT ENABLE THE PEDOPHILE WARLORD PROPHET BOF ISLAM WE ARE BRAINWASHED TO BE " TOLERANT OF " THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A REAL VICTORY AND HAS INSTEAD BEEN TURNED INTO LIBERAL LA LA LAND OF DENIAL GAME HALLOW AS A STATIGIC RESPONSE TO ISIS PROMISE FROM OBAMA ( WHO COVERS FOR THEM THAT FOLLOWING ISLAM AND ISLAMS FOUNDERS EXAMPLE AND TEACHINGS IS " NOT ISLAMIC " ) kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4DUeqKqf9d5jK8

I am gonna confess something. I have heard about Malala before. I have been impressed able it what she had achieved even though she is the same age as me. I heard about her, been impressed by her and promptly forgot her. Recently, I had finished my high school and joined a ver good college. Said college arranged for a motivational speech by the IPS SilenderBabu who came from a very poor family and had achieved greatness. He asked us about who we think Malala is. A boy promptly answered that she was a girl shot by the terrorists. I may have forgotten Malala for a short period of time but I still felt offended for her. SilenderBabu then screened a short part of this speech. I was amazed by the bravery that she showed. Because being an introverted person, I would have been scared shitless to even stand before such a crowd. I was intrigued and wanted to hear the rest of her speech. That would is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

(Continuation) I am an Indian girl who was enrolled in one of the most prestigious school in my area. But I like most of my fellow youth, I disregarded the education offered to me because it was so easily offered to me and also the usual reason given by my fellow youth, "it's hard to study","its boring" etc. I hated going to school. But then as I listen to Malala's speech the only thing running through my mind is that, "I don't have those difficulties that my fellow sisters around the world have. Those girls WANTED education and they have been deprived of it whereas here I am, getting the education they are fighting for, and disregarding it." I have never felt so ashamed. Another thing that SilenderBabu highlighted in his speech is that if you want your life to change then it is YOU who has to work for it. He told us that many youth think that studying is hard. He told us a story of how some poor high school graduate students were sent into the sea as fishermen to work for income.
@ButILikeYouAndThatIsNotFake8 жыл бұрын
+SwethaRockzz (continuation) He told us how they got stranded had to survive a week by drinking their own urine. Then he looked at us and asked us "so, what do you think is more hard, studying to develop your future or fighting to survive?". I think the answer is pretty clear. So today, I promise that I will study my hardest. I may not make a change for others but I CAN and I WILL make a change for my own future. I may not make a change like Malala or SilenderBabu but I will make sure their effort to better OUR own future does not go to waste.
@ButILikeYouAndThatIsNotFake8 жыл бұрын
+SwethaRockzz Malala, you may not read this. But I hope you know that your voice IS heard and that it IS making a change. Not many people may read these lengthy comments but if you do and you are one of the people disregarding the education given to you, remember, it is YOUR future you are studying for and remember the thousands of people around the world who are not so privileged. Study hard. Make a difference. Even though it is in your own life.

Her Veil, any covered woman's veil, is not a symbol of subjugation or of oppression, it is a choice a woman makes, not to flaunt her physical appearance, to allow her heart and mind to speak before her figure or hair style. It is a beautiful statement of human dignity. The veil doesn't silence or oppress us, it gives us a voice and the freedom to use it and be heard. Also, I am not Muslim, I am a Christian woman who wears a similar veil of my own free choice.
