A vast majority of Orthodox Christians seems closer to upper Caste Hindus than to Christianity and Bible. Ask anyone, their primary feeling is pride of ancestry as opposed to Christians in TN or AP who value Christ above other things. A testimony from a Hindu opened my eyes- She never heard of the Gospel of Christ but was well aware of saints like Muthappan/parumalathirumeni and Mary as she had only Orthodox and jacobite community in the village. The community values dead, saints and ritiuals and focusses less on the second Coming of the Christ, judgement and gospel sharing.

So what are you trying to prove the malankara Church was nestorian before the arrival of HH Abdul Jaleel Mor Gregorius patriarch of Jerusalem??? But certainly its illogical that the church which resisted Roman church by the oath of Coonan cross will take the teachings of HH Abdul Jaleel patriarch???,,!, but it's a fact that the malankara church had unconditionally accepted the intervention of the bava and it is the ever great substantial evidence that His holiness had only restored the Syrian orthodox faith in Kerala which was defiled by catholic church for some decades,,, rather if it was a new teachings and new relationship the malankara Church will never happened to accept the west Syrian fraction. So we undoubtedly believe that there was nestorian church following eastern Syrian traditions and the Syrian Orthodox Christianity
