I’ve been studying the golf swing for many years, lots of different teachers and techniques. I hope people appreciate what Mike is teaching. This is really good stuff. Really good. The best I have come across in the 50 years I’ve been studying.

I agree with you totally. I'm 38 and in contact with golf since my 12y of age. But only last year I started studying and discovered that there are 2 ways (Mike Bender and Mike Malaska) to play golf with just small ramifications each. Malaskas concept is the best most efficient and easy way. (Very similar like 90% to Butch Harmon/Tiger from 2000) Other players with the same Malaska "way" but slightly modifications in hand, grip are Rory, Garcia, Koepka, DJ, Spieth, Schaufelle, Scheffer, JT, Morikawa, Cantlay, Dechambeau, Niklaus. Bender's way are Hogan, Zach Johnson, Niemann, Els. I think golf swing have these ramifications.

Great stuff! For me, Mike Malaska is the one who teaches golf best. So confident in what he’s found and learned about the swing over time. Always connects his teaching to how the body moves naturally.

I like the Malaska way of letting me in my minds eye picture the golf club head and shaft basically following the plane to the ball and to think of the swing as one athletic action in motion. Trying to grasp the swing in many pieces is like trying to put a 25 piece puzzle together in 2 seconds"

Have been following your videos for the past 6 months. Great instruction, braking down the motion of the swing to the mindset that should be developed. Don't forget your senior followers. Thanks

Wisdom as ever. I’ve been hitting the ball so sweetly just directing the momentum of the clubhead as Mike says.

First watch your swing, i cant understand what u try to give. It look like and outside to in swing.Now i have to do what David Duval did. U change my swing perspective. U made golf a lot easier.

Very interesting thought Mike that there shouldn't be a "top" of a swing. I guess that's one of my problems in my swing that I sometimes target a finished backswing or "top" in the swing which leads me into a stuck position that requires a hip turn or pushing of the right foot to start the downswing. Great video, thanks Mike.

Hi M. Malaska, I bought your book and I keep reading and reading it to have all the information in my brain so I can process it in due time. I have stop playing golf since october 2018 due to big right shoulder capsulitis. I'm starting to move it properlly now and think to be able to go back to work in july and also play golf. All those moments I took to view anything about the golf swing and compare to all of my own instructors and KZbin golf talking channels make me wondering if I'll be able to put all the puzzle properlly and in sequence. Can't wait to be able to swing with an already new perspective of a golf swing. I want to thank you very much in advance for making your book, your KZbin channel and soon hopefully on a video session with you if possible when my shoulder will act properlly. Till then I want to thank you again for your truth envolvement with golf. Denis Matte

Malaska is the best. Watched pretty much all Malaska vids(+ From Eric and Be better golf channel as well). I finally figured out the transition of the body. Since I play soccer very well, I had to take advantage of it for golf swing. Just see how Cristiano Ronaldo's upperbody is bent forward to the ground as he kicks the ball when he does his signature free-kick. It's like doing some abs (contraction). So when I'm abt to finish backswing, I'm imitating (CR7 freekick pose) bending forward/down contracting my abs area. As my upperbody bends a bit towards the ground, it makes my left hip go a bit lateral and do the hands down concept. And of course do push back movement with left hip. And voilà!!! Im hitting like a pro!!! 👍💯 Hope this soccer move helps others🙏 Obs: there's no top, it's a constant motion of moving forces and not weight. And I don't feel turning hips at any moment. Because turn is not a cause. It's an effect..

It's a very different way to understand the dynamic motion of a golf swing with pivot points that have been pre-selected based on internal calculations of the external environment. It may validate the perception that every golf swing is slightly different but often follow the same or similar routine and sequence of events.

I've been trying this constant motion shot making concept for a week or two now with my irons especially. I'm hitting it really well (hcp 5). It works for me and definitely I'm going to practice it with long clubs too. The question that I have is, that what if I'm going too much forwards too early? I'm hitting low drives and long irons and not a fan of those.

Hi Mike, recently I noticed a lot of "Stack & Tilt" coaching videos coming up on my youtube feed. Very skeptical, your views?
@Samantha-cw1ci4 жыл бұрын
Mike, go back and review your video with Eric posted one month ago. You definately say" when you get to the top of your swing" Am I not hearing that correctly? This is not a criticism because I love all of your vids.
@JungleLarry4 жыл бұрын
He specifically says in this video that he tells his students there is no "top" in order to get them thinking about the swing differently, more dynamically. He's just being cheeky.
@otomotom18792 жыл бұрын
It seems that he says in other couple of videos just to not sound and be a boring guy by being the only one that says there's no top. In reality, Mike wants to say there's no top in all the videos. In this specific video series of transition, Mike had to emphasize there's no top because it would affect directly to what he's showing. ( For when to start downswing and when comparing golf swing motion to tennis baseball etc) As I ve seen pretty much all his vids + in Eric and Be better golf channel, I concluded that.

I can’t believe Cornholio agreed with “There are no positions it’s constant motion”. EC does nothing but teach positions and feels

@@haidangngo5430 No idea. He said the swing is constant motion. Obviously it's possible to play well without constant motion.

You know I bet we’d all hit it better if we had someone roll the ball at us instead of it being still in front of us lol.
