Hi Dnipro! Thank you for watching again and for your comment. I also liked the Malawi bird stamps very much! Just a comment: I wish I could make my videos even a little bit as visually interesting as yours!

@@GreatStampAdventure yes!) so I paid attention to it. Your videos became much more visually nteresting as for me! I try to find my own format video for watching any person without words.

@@dnipro_stamps I try to improve, but it is difficult, because it is difficult to improve the way I talk and what I say. My videos, different from yours, rely heavily on the talking.

What a lovely gift from Rick! I remember seeing him on Exploring Stamps. Seeing his interest in Eva stamps set off the soundtrack to "Evita" in my head:) Those stamps are all beautiful:) Your videos are always so great and really cheer me up. Thanks:)

Special "hello" to you, Martha! Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, if something so familiar as the Evita soundtrack plays in your head, it can be quite persistent. 😄 I really enjoyed the stamps and seeing them. It means so much to me that you like my videos! Very best regards to you!!!

Wonderful stamps from Rick, who is very generous. Thank you for sharing. 10:19 The Klipspringer stamp is from a definitive series featuring antelopes, gazelles, etc. 12:00 This 9 pence stamp is from the first definitive series after the country changed its name. Stamps of the same design were also issued inscribed Nyasaland, before the country changed its name. Both sets were denominated in pounds, shillings and pence. (Before the currency was decimalised with 100 tambalas = 1 Kwacha). 16:30 Yes, Charnie, I do have those mushroom stamps. They are rather lovely.

Hi Steve! I am always waiting for you to comment, because I know I am going to learn a lot from you!!! I thought the Klipspringer stamp must be part of a set - but it is also good to know it is a definitive. When I took the video I remembered "Kwacha", but forgot the smaller currency's name - tambala! The 9 pence stamp look so new, it is very interesting to know it is the first definitive series after the country became "Malawi". It would be good to have the Nyasaland version as well. :) I thought you will have the mushroom stamps. They are not the most beautiful mushroom stamps I have ever seen, but mushrooms themselves are already so pretty!!!! Really thanks again so, so much for watching and commenting, Steve! And I remain in awe of your knowledge! Take care!

Спасибо Чарни за обзор новых марок! Марки красивые. Но к сожалению современные марки Малави печатают только для коллекционеров. Они даже не по подают в страну, для которой выпущены. Хороших находок и коллекционирования! Было приятно снова увидеться.

Hello Jevgeni!!! First of all thank you again very, very much for watching and for your insightful comment. That is very bad - about the modern Malawi stamps - are they not using any stamps for posting letters etc. in their postal system? Or are they using other stamps for that. It is a sad situation that stamps in countries are only printed for collectors!!!!! I know it was the case for some CTOs in the past as well. What I didn't notice (I am so stressed when I make a video!) and didn't comment on - there are very mistakes in the wording on the stamps and souvenir sheets. E.g. what they called "indigenous" birds, are not birds just indigenous in Malawi, but at least a larger area in southern Africa. They used "indigenous" the same as "occurring in". They also labelled a Kingfisher a Bee-Eater etc. ... Anyway, I thought you would find it interesting to know there are mistakes. :) Thanks so much for visiting my channel again. 🙂

Hello Jevgen, I can assure you that all the stamps and sheets shown actually came from Malawi. Furthermore, I have several covers with some of those stamps sent directly to me from Malawi. I will send pics. to Charnie and she may show them in another video. 🙂

@@rickwilmot9127 Hi Rick. Excellent! Thanks for clearing that up. I would love to add those images, printed, to the stamps when they are put away in the collection to fill out their story. Thanks for replying to Jevgeni! Everything is so interesting.
