I would have thought he was Pakistani and she was Indian. She might be of South Indian descent, Karachi has a many people from South India - Tamils, Hyderabadi Dakhni speakers, Goan Christians and yes many Keralans :) There are even Malabari cafes there 👍. Many people in Karachi can speak or understand south indian languages.
