Simple step is giving the same ssid name and password to the extenders and router. So any device connected will reconnect automatically while you move between these devices. Also if possible connect via lan cable to these extenders for maintaining better bandwidth. Also place the extenders atleast 30% coverage area available from the router wifi if connecting wirelessly to maintain the bandwidth. 🙂 The thing explaining in the video is configuring of accesspoint from router. Tip: If u want same subnet, then connect as bridge mode if available.

Okay so njn personally oru wifi extender use cheyuva bedroom il speed koottaanayi...ente main router nde range oke room il kittum but speed ottum kitathila...so in that situation enik extender thanne ahn best option ayit thoniyath...if ur requirement is just to increase the network speed for just a portion of the house that already recieves wifi signal, then router thanneya best....mesh networks are best for say a 3 or more floor house...or a house where the main router is placed at a corner of the house.

Main router poyal , thankalude mesh network work cheyumo?.. what you did is acess point, any decent router will support it.. Even feature is missing, you can make it work via switching off dhcp on secondary acesspoints.. (key is all devices need to be in subnet of main router)... ithoke 2000's muthal work cheyuna sadanamanu.. esp in wired mode.. in wireless mode , same company device may be required as lot matters on firmwire.

waste of money...just buy 2 or 3 same model router that supports AP mode like TPlink archer series or Mi gigabit router, etc....use one as router mode and others as ap mode..connect ap mode routers to the LAN ports of router mode router....now place the ap in such a way that each of them is in weak range of other...configure same Wifi name and same wifi password in each one....now your phone or laptop will 'roam' when you move... I use archer c6...2500 each where as a decent mesh will cost atleast 5000 for one device. The only downside is that you have to connect each one by using ethernet cable. but in mesh the speed drops when you move from one node to other
