My hubby told me that the older the trees are, the better their quality will be. Stronger taste, smell and creamier. Even the husk will will be thinner and the seeds will be smaller

That's what Mr Lee said as well. The durian kampung from the 55 year old tree is darn good, texture like cheese that melted in the mouth, and how one takes care of the tree mattered. Mr Lee said it has sufficient nutrients that helped it to produce.

Oh ya...I remember your durian tree is due to fruit soon. Need to apply fertilizers to promote fruiting.

No need for scientific verification or data. This was real life evidence in practise sjowing what it takes to grow the king of Malaysian fruit, the Durian. Mr.Lee explained the process from growing a small plant to producing fruits, the challenges faced, the fixing of problems and the dedication needed to get the maximum yield out of each different type of tree. A great tour for us all and for sure a labour of love for him. Great video KC!

Thank yuu. Taste of fresh durian is different in the sense it leaves a numb sensation on the mouth pallet and tongue. Happy faces of my friends picking the durians.

Next round, go pluck mangoesteens. you will learn to appreciate why the price is so high...hahaha
@sarahloh10682 жыл бұрын
Ya, you are right. Mangosteen is so so difficult to pluck 😁😁😁

Why ar?
@KCfaith2 жыл бұрын
Next round we try plugging mangosteen. Then we'll know. If I remembered correctly, there are two types in your orchard. - normal type and the Brazilian variety.

@@BizConnectors you hv to pluck using the hand. Not using sticks. Else, the flesh inside will bruise and u get the yellowy and bitter nectar all over the nice juicy white flesh
