The extra tea cup is for your tea to cool down while you are drinking from one. Not for the spirit (ghost). 😊

Some dishes not really from China but is from the Malaysia Chinese who made it. Like this deep fried noodle actually is Malaysian dish. Dim sum not 100% from China, Malaysia people modified it.

Yes, It’s Malaysian Chinese style dim sum here, I also can tell bit different to Hong kong or southern china dim sum :) Good to share!

8:30 In Malaysia, we call that har kow, not hai kow!!! Har is prawn in Cantonese. Usually made with a whole prawn inside.

You must try steam pork ribs, fried radish cakes, chicken feet and cheong fun which has either bbq pork or prawn fillings and comes with sweet soya sauce, fried shallots and special prawn paste sambal. There is also Loh mai kai which is glutinous rice steamed with chicken, Chinese mushroom and Chinese sausage

Watching you two eat reminded me of when Chef Baek Jongwon went to HK in search of the best dim sum. He loved the char siew pau :) (I'm sure you know that there are also red bean steamed buns (dou sha bao) you can order, like jjinppang) For my family, we fill the extra cups with tea. When our own cups are empty, we pour the tea from the extra cups, which are cooler than the one in the teapot. Then, pour tea into the extra cups so that they can cool down again :D Easier to drink. Lotus paste is made of lotus seeds (that come from the lotus root plant/flower). Depending on how it's prepared, I suppose it could taste a bit like green beans. I knew pretty dongsaeng would rate the noodles 5 out of 5. For RM 12, it's quite worth it, big serving, especially with big, big prawns👍🏼👍🏼

말레이시아 길거리 음식은 먹어도 위생 문제는 없으려나요? 인니는 먹으면 탈난다던데..
@250Loy5 ай бұрын
Hi anyeong. I love to watch your KZbin videos. I wish to recommend a place, a fishing village north of KL about 2 hours drive. Go there, stay a day or 2. Its a place called Hutan Melintang, the largest fishing village in Msia. Go to the jetty, buy fresh fish, prawns, cuttlefish, squid, crabs, bring to any of the nearby restaurant. They will cook for you. Tour the village, savour the local cuisine, its interesting. Amsa hamida
