In KL & other states they say 파슴보 "pasembur" (sometimes silent r) but in northern 사투리 like in Penang, Kedah, Perlis they call it 파슴복 "pasembog" 😅

Interesting! I heard that dialect in Kelantan is quite special, too :)

@@250Loy yes, even more difficult to understand (I grew up in Kelantan). Some simple examples: Makan: Kelantan "마캐", Terengganu "마캉" Ayam: Kelantan "아예", Terengganu "아양" For numbers Kelantan is different too: Satu 1 - Seo (서), Dua 2 - Dueo (두어), 3 - Tiga - Tigeo (티거) For KL people, Terengganu 사투리 is so much easier to understand than Kelantanese

Hi, Im a Malaysian chinese here. Thats very true. Usually, chinese peoples we are prefer chinese cuisines i guess coz its our DNA. Isnt like we dont support malay restaurant or business. Cos chinese are very selective for foods unless we know that restaurants serve a good quality foods then we will go there. She is right.. If you see the malay restaurant and many chinese patrons which mean that restaurant must be a gem restaurant. Same thing apply to chinese restaurant too. Like myself, i love malay foods too cos their flavour and taste so much different compare to chinese. especially the malay Chicken rendang, ayam masak merah, Nasi Kelabu in Kelantan , asam pedas and more. Usually, you can spot many chinese peoples love to support street vendors selling Nasi lemak and Nasi campur. As long as the food is good surely you can see chinese or Indian there. The best things living in Malaysia with multi cultures we have such an amazing peoples and races and ever individually race have their own gems cuisine. I hope you will slowly explore and get to know the beauty of Malaysia ❤ Also, do not forget to try Malaysian Indian cuisine too such banana leaf rice. If anyone here knowing some authentic and best indian restaurants pls share with them ❤️ Welcome to Malaysia !!

Don't take too much (factory) processed items. Pick the basic ones. Personally not a fan of the gravy. I prefer the common mamak rojak, peanut sauce (almost like satay sauce) Other similar dish are Singapore rojak, they are using more way more fancy processed items. For more healthier version, please try fruit rojak (rojak buah)
