You do also realize that our OPR also needs to be raised so that the MYR doesnt further devalue and cause import inflation, right? Also, do you realize that Rafizi has no say over bank Negara policies right? No one in the executive nor cabinet has a say. BNM is independent. What he can talk about is structural reforms which are very long term economic measures. This is what he spoke of in this video. If your answer is no to the above statements, then stop trying to act smart when the truth is you are just whiny and ignorant. Typical avg mesian voter, all ya'll do is just complain. As soon as Anwar went to China and spoke about setting up a Asian Monetary Fund, the ringgit plunged vs the US Dollar. This is to be expected. That is why Malaysia should slowly distance itself from the US Dollar and encourage trading using regional currencies. If BRICS creates a new currency backed by gold, we should get on board. We must get away from the USD, which is back by absolutely nothing.

On an overall basis, ease of doing business and less corruption would be good for FDI. Anyway energy costs should be compared with our near competitors and I believe our rates are still very competitive.
