Tips: If you ever seen the production of juices with HONEY, please avoid! It should be from both sides. Any health product has to have clearance from the health ministry. Many health supplements (and beauty products for that matter) sold in Malaysia unfortunately don't go through Health Ministry's approval process. Some may pose serious health hazards especially those produced from ingredients that are not well known or well tested as efficacious. To compound the situation, they may be made by a random manufacturer in a random third world country, then sourced and repacked with lots of marketing gimmicks by the Malaysian entrepreneurs, and sold to unsuspecting and less than knowledgeable public.

It all comes down to the mentality of the society on being fair skinned, slim, and not having to exercise to be in a good shape. The Asian society in general, doesn't really question this type of issue on a regular basis, compared to the issue of racism being always discussed in the news in America. It's time to bring lense to the core root of the problems of these ridiculous beauty standard. And most importantly, bring people solutions to self acceptance. And start to embace our own unique appearance. At the same time, encourage being healthy. I think awareness on this issue brings a good conversation starting point, but what the media company should think now, is encouraging the positiveness of accepting one's own beauty standard. And how rewarding it is to be physically healthy. In that way, people would feel more encouraged to try this. Hope this helps!

My father is a former government servant, during his services, he has brought this issue countless times. Under the Ministry of Youth & Sports, he met a lot of Doctors and Scientists explaining the harmful these products brought. 2 things that are prohibited in our household: health/ food supplements and pickled foods. As both are harmful. For us to have a supplement, meet a doctor and discuss or pharmacists. At 64 years old, my father's only mantra is exercise and watch what you eat. Do you need to diet? No, just control the portions. He always said, make a full medical check-up every 2 years to those under 30 and gradually increase it to once a year to know what is happening in your body. He is able to do the marathon and go for 16 hours climbing straight at his age and even has a friend at 70-year-old who is still able to do this. He is the epitome of good lifestyle could achieve.

Having watched this, as a Malay in Singapore, I have always been skeptical of supplements from Malaysia, especially by fellow Malaysian locals. Sadly, I myself am a victim of consuming their sea cucumber with aloe Vera (or better known as gamat) just because they managed to cross into our shores with an assumption that they are already approved by HSA. What irks me the most is how irresponsible of them in making false claims without an inch of guilt or any assessment of their moral compass. How can you overclaim its benefits and selling to vulnerable consumers who are putting their health at risk with some eventually succumbing to death! And dare you flaunt your wealth to the masses without an inch of guilt?! How can you sleep with that? Worse, as a Muslim, every of our action will be judged. Im 14 year old, live in Malaysia, and I feel like I need to say this. If you wanted to be slim and fit for the first time, don't take any products. Give your body a chance to grow itself. Try doing some exercises. There's no shortcuts that have no consequences. If it still doesn't work then maybe you have to consider taking the product AT YOUR OWN RISK. Do more research, don't just rely on anonymous people on internet. Even our favourite people in internet could overclaim any products. I been into fitness for 2 years, and when I first started, I demonize fat. Because I'm dumb that time. I tried my hardest to lose fat and gain muscle, but it results in more unhealthy symptoms such as orthorexia, nausea, amnesia and such. I have finally opened my eyes long ago and knows my body alot more through those experiences. Not all fat are bad. I need to gain weight for more muscle gain. I need to control my workout routine, not overdo it like I did in the past. Taking any of these products without even trying to use the natural ways to lose weight or getting muscle is like taking steroids for bodybuilding purposes without even having bodybuilding experience. Even if you have noticeable fat on your belly or face or whatever, it doesn't mean that you are unhealthy or you need to do something. You simply take these products just for your own cosmetic. Slim people looks far more better on our mentality because they know to control their diet and stuff, while in reality, taking any of these products is pretty much useless. You can literally use the SAFER way to lose weight which is exercising, and organising diet. But don't go too overboard, you might ended up having orthorexia or anorexia. For cosmetic products, I don't trust those products that are like "want bigger boobs? Want better butt?". Because those things, will always have consequences. Steroids as example. One of the side effects of steroids is you will have less testosterone on your body, because steroids is slowly replacing them, which will cause difficulty for your sperm. I'm 14 year old, used to be obsessed at fitness, and through those times, I learn alot about human body. What is right, what is wrong. Some products will give you what you wanted, but won't give you what you need.

He also outs himself as having ZERO skills in selling and in business. Business 101: Provide a solution to a problem. Make sure the solution does what it says. Don't lie. The outcome? People will talk about your product without you having to say anything. It also explains why businesses like him only survive in Malaysia. They can't scale outside, because other countries have better regulation and enforcement. Every day he goes against the law but no government body has taken action. People acquire chronic health issues and people die. Still ZERO action.

Our body need vitamin & mineral for all biological & enzyme activities. Vitamin mineral are from the food we eat. The food are mainly from plants & part of food chain, starting from soil we planting. Modern farming depleting minerals. Fertilizer just makes the beautiful plants not healthy due to lack of minerals in soil. Additional food supplements is a must to fill the gap our body needs. With unhealthy lifestyle & environment, additional vitamin mineral is need too. There are a few good but many lousy food supplements manufacturers in the market. Do some background research of R&D, Manufacturing process & source of ingredients NOT just base on advertising, influencer or testimonials. For the case obesity, for long term solution is when understand when we eat & what we eat with add basic food supplement & moderate exercise. There is not magic bullet or medicine for obesity.

This type of supplements happen in the philippines to. Most of this are networking type the more you sell and gain seller the higher you earn. Even my friend got hook on this slim stuff but she stop because of the side effect like after eating you go to toilet then sometimes she gets palpitation. After that you gain weight if you stop using the product plus not all have the budget for this. The worse is that there are some slimming product containing illegal drugs.

Pharmacist here, not from malaysia though. just wondering how the malaysian health authority (like FDA in US) do for the spread of such suplemen. at least in my country there is a registration number, and the health authority here even launch an app to check if the drug/suplemen is registered or not. so not sure if such suplemen have been registered or not to malaysian health authority. if it is registered then it's safe, if it's not. well...try to get the suplemen from the pharmacy. oh and for those miracle suplemen for weight loss, I will say that according to my lesson and teaching, the safest way for weight loss is 1-2 kg a month with exercise and good diet. so no, it's not safe to get suddenly loss weight without exercise and proper diet. I know some drugs that can help in weight loss , like preventing the absorption of fat , etc but no it's not safe to drink it without proper examination from the doctor. my advice for those who want to diet and weight loss 1. cut the F sugar. no boba milk, no sweet, no cake 2. drink water 2L a day 3. use stairs instead of elevator (at least 3 stories high) for exercise. you can also walk to the your workplace 4. for suplemen use, look if the intended suplemen is registered in your country or not. some suplemen is pretty safe to drink without doctor consultation like vit C 500 mg or vit d3 1000 unit (example in my country) 5. you can also try to cut on carbohydrat, no fry food (you can still eat fry food just limit the intake), and no you don't need to eat salad 3 times a day. cut on the carbo, limit the fry food. Eat regularly and yes if you persevere you can get some weight loss, and no you won't loss the weight a lot, but you will be healthier. the correct mindset is not how to get weight loss, but how to be healthy. if you get weight loss, you might not be healthy. but if you are healthy, you will get automatically get an ideal weight.

I never take any sort of supplement in my life because I do not trust them. Our body is our best supplement if we take good care of it. Exercise, eat well and have a positive mindset is enough to keep a person glowing. I am 40 yrs old. I'm not overweight, and people always tell me that I look 15 years younger. I attribute that to my lifestyle... exercise, eat well and have a positive mindset (and occasionally do fasting). This lifestyle doesn't cost me a lot of money. Just time investment. Just like how we invest time with family, friends and the things we like to do. Spend 1 hour less on social media... and invest that 1 hour by walking around your neighbourhood. You'll see the difference in 2-3 months. No need for health supplements.

Just because the product is promoted as natural based product does not mean natural based product will not harm your body. For diet, taking shortcut like slimming pill mean you are doing it wrong, the risk is far huge than reward.

WE ARE WHAT WE EAT......ITS THAT SIMPLE. BUT the sad thing is everyone wants the quick fix. You can’t expect to eat and eat and expect no consequence. What you eat has to go some way, either sweat it out, energy to keep you going for the whole day base on that one meal you had for the day or, it stays on your hip if you’re not active.
@theweatherisaokay49643 жыл бұрын
I don't take supplements. I mostly cook myself and eating what I want but in moderations. I fast alot, or one meal a day. But when I eat, I eat everything bread, rice , meat , fruits, veggies and mostly eggs plus a little exercise and played Dota 2 to stimulate my old brain. Thankfully at this age, I don't have any sickness, heart problem, diabetes and all. It's a blessing to live healthily without any medications and supplement. You are what you eat.
