My experience at Hospital KL (HKL). 4.5 hours operation. 3 Nights in ICU. 12 nights recuperating in normal ward. Everyone who worked at HKL gave 110%. Upon discharged, I paid ZERO ringgit. Very proud of our healthcare system.

This is absolutely true, even heading to one of the clinics in kl, called Tanglin clinic, doesn't even charge you a cent for a doctor visit and receiving a medicine from the pharmacy!!.. and somemore the service are good and top notch!! In recognition of the doctors at Sg Buloh Hospital, I felt it's a must for me to pen down this comment. TBH I personally have not been to the government hospital for a long long time. But recently one of my legal foreign worker fell ill and unfortunately the diagnosis was surprisingly bad. But I must say the facilities at the hospital and the commitment and the dedications of the doctors are wonderful and I seriously applaud them. And the other good thing is the medical cost is covered by the foreign workers insurance, it's all online by the hospital direct to the insurer. I'm pleased and impressed. The follow up clinic doctors are also wonderful, very dedicated, concerning and walk the extra mile to give lengthy explanation. Well done and thanks to Sg Buloh Hospital .

People from all over the state go there for treatment(Sarawak is the same size as Peninsular Malaysia) such a shame we are so underdeveloped. IJN is also located here and I have received treatment in both IJN and HUS. I could see how overworked our doctors are especially at emergency and they were very moody. We should always appreciate our health care workers 👍❤️

As a frequent visitor to Malaysian hospitals and also this Serdang Hospital, it’s true that the system is quite efficient and you do not need an appointment for check-up. But Malaysian hospitals are crowded and we also needed more hospitals to accomodate patients. Vehicle parks are a major problem in many hospitals I went. Not only hospitals but also the smaller clinic centers that sometimes can be mistaken as a hospital due to the volume of people going there. Undeniably it’s cheap for locals where for clinics we only pay for RM1 including diagnosis and pills or RM5 for experts clinic in general hospital which also included with medicines.

Nak ikut kan servis hospital di Malaysia terutama di sektor awam sangat byak perlu diperbaiki..the reasons y we are successful is because we work together as Malaysians...healthcare workers will stay working despite the long hours and underpaid and understaff and underresources..Malaysians are patience and willing to give cooperation to the doctors/nurses/therapists/etc..

Betul. Sistem perlu sentiasa ada penambahbaikan. Hospital dan klinik awam dah banyak, tapi staf dan kakitangan termasukla doktor² pakar mesti mencukupi utk tampung pesakit yg semakin ramai. you dont need appointments when seeing GPs-goverments or private...but for specialist you still need referrals from GPs,you can go straight to specialist if you go to private hospital and pay on your own,no insurance claims involved.but then i realized that hospital serdang is so massive!there's garden up there..no wonder i can see some green scenery when visiting..
