Hi friends
Thanks to your support my last episode featuring roast pork attracted better viewership than my other episodes. So I was taking a little clue from it, perhaps audience likes to watch dishes with rice connection. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, my chicken rice, nasi lemak and BKT did reasonably well too. So for this episode, since it’s rather cold in this rainy days I’m featuring claypot chicken rice which supposedly contains the heat better than other utensils. Hope you agree and thanks for the encouragement and don’t forget to leave a comment. Remember to give your support to our street food. Bye and see you in the next.

Chong Kee is by far the best around Klang Valley. Slightly pricey but worth it. But I believe they've closed down. Shi Yue Tian is good too but many time the meat aren't properly cooked. And they aren't that refined compared to Chong Kee. Their Ton Tong (Steamed Soup) are very good. Long wait since it's very popular.

Humans only learn how to use fire to cook 50,000 years ago which leads to better nutrition intake and hence larger brain. However, life is still pretty nomadic and humans are still hunter/gatherer. 1st agriculture was detected only 10,000 years ago where 1st civilisation were born, earliest were assumed to be in Mesopotamia. It would be interesting to find a clay pot rice relic dated 200,000 years ago. :P
