Crochet braids will definitely save you lots of time in your morning routine! To cut down on the install time I recommend not trying to have perfect cornrows and preparing the crochet hair. Just braid your hair and keep it moving lol. It used to take me all day now I can do an install in about 2 hours. Good luck on your crochet journey. Please let me know how it goes😄

You get faster the more you do it. When I first started, it would take me all day, now I can get it done in roughly two to two and a half hours. It also depends on the texture and the style I'm going for. For example, Freetress Deep Twist is one of my favorites, but I don't use it very often because it's so silky and I have to knot it so many times. I skip lots of the really silky textures because I don't want to spend the time. Also if I want to have style versatility, my braid pattern is going to change. When I do a style that I can part anywhere and pull up in addition to just wearing down, it takes longer because I have to plan for that with my braids.

This is one of my favorite crochet hair selections! I wore this hair for my cruise and it held up pretty well. I love how soft, full, and real it looks. People always ask me if it's human hair lol. I recently did a half up half down style and it turned out nice, but my real hair and humidity wouldn't let me be great for too long 😅🤣🤣🤣

Love the video as always! About the braids being loose or tight...I would just like to put out there that if you have long hair like yours, it makes it easier to braid looser, but what tends to happen for those with shorter hair, a looser braid base will start unraveling at the install. (I am in no way advocating braiding anyone's scalp! Lol)

by now you may have figured out that you can just crochet the tails into your cornrows. It'll lay flatter and it won't take as long. ❤❤❤

I'm comment number 95 so I know someone already said do yourself a favor and crochet the ponytail down in the back instead of sewing. By the time you thread the needle and sew it down, you could have latched 6 braids in the back and ready to roll! And not have to look for the thread on take down. The hair is beautiful btw:)

Have you ever tried pulling the ends of the braids through the cornrows with the crochet needle and then crocheting around them? Some say it lasts better and some don't so I was curious. Looks gorgeous as usual :-)

Usually knot an intense amount of times and if that doesn’t work then I usually want to take the hair out immediately 😩😂

I experience the same frizz. I believe it’s a feature of the hair. There isn’t really anything to do to reverse it once it hit but I did cut the frizz out. How long did you wear before seeing the frizz?

Lia Lavon Thanks for the reply. Pretty much same day as install. The more you handle the hair the more it frizz. Also, it’s hard to to keep the knot, it loosens immediately. I may take it out this weekend after only a week. It’s too bad cuz the texture is amazing and the curl is so beautiful,.
