This really shocked me up! Thank you for support Malaysian food in this incredible channel! :) From a truly Malaysian who eats Kerabu most of the time!

Good one! There are definitely a variety of kerabus in Malaysia. I believe this is chef John's variation of the kerabu eaten with the blue rice. One of my fave kerabu has shredded fried mackerel, cilantro, red chilli, green chilli, red onion, and lime in it, simply named kerabu ikan (fish "salad"). Also, the thinner the vegetables, the nicer it'll taste. try using one of those shredder for vegetables.

I see! Well if you are coming back here, please let your Malaysian fans know about it. We will suggest you a place where you can eat deliciously! I suggest you visit Langkawi Island and find a restaurant named 'Nelayan' which is actually Fisherman translated in English. The fishes are so fresh, you name it, they cook it. :)

FYI for what I'm trying to say, it may be native to one place but you don't attach the name to every little thing, do all the things made in China(A lot of things are made in China) that you have in your house, you call a Chinese bowl or a Chinese cup? No, you do not. Example: Apple products are mostly MADE in other ASIAN countries, but you don't say you have a China Iphone, etc. It's the fact that you IGNORE people who say, they eat bean sprouts RAW. Who cares where it came from.
