The three go on the inside.

With the three and two blade model, the three blades always go inside the pipe. With the five and three blade model, the five blades always go inside the pipe. This is the correct method to get the best crimp.

Are you sure that with the 5 blade hand crimper that the 3 blades go to the outside? I have always done 3 blades inside.

You're right. 2 outside is the way I was trained. It was the first thing I noticed lol

The main complaint I've seen with these is the shaft breaking. Does milwaukee have any plans on coming out with a stronger design?

Why didn’t you run the crimper over the seam?

There's no need to crimp a seam. Even with manual crimpers, I stop at the seam.

So this is a Malco video right? I mean Malco made the video? If you use an 18 V with this and it breaks it voids the warranty and it says right on the package not to use with 18 V. So why are you using an 18 V in your video?

Hi Scott, the packaging for our C5A2 states"Use Min. 12V Impact Driver & 1/4 in. Hex Chuck." I'm not quite sure where you read this, but it will not void the warranty if you use an 18V.
