So you are not only using the tool the wrong way as so many people already mentioned but depending on which way the air is being forced you only want one crimp end and you want it to be on the side the air is going towards. You don't crimp both ends of a pipe 🤦‍♂️

You know they are just practicing cutting and crimping. They are not really installing the round duct, Right? So they will crimp both ends and cut it off and crimp it again.

Thank you. After fitting the duct together, it seems a little loose. Should I just use duct sealant to glue them together, or should I drill a few holes and put in screws to hold them together?

people saying is he using the wrong side, if you go to malcos site they are using it this way

he use wrong side to crimp the round duct. the 2 blade should be on outside or above the duct. the 3 blade should below or inside the duct.
