One of the very few times I’ve seen Francis and Reese having a one on one. It’s nice seeing the 2 oldest brothers having a little chat.

Reese always calls Francis when he has problems. Like when he stole the driver’s ed car and was being chased by the cops. And when he tested all those drugs.

@Kaboomboo5 жыл бұрын
Well he signed a two year lease which is unusually long so the rent was likely dramatically reduced and this appears to be a singles complex so it's likely in a less favorable part of town. And it's the early 2000s.

Besides being a tv series this was set in the early 2000's where allot of things were cheap and gas was like less than $2 and I'm pretty sure they live in the inner United US I think far from the beach at least (from Dewey thinking the baby was talking to him) beside able to somehow finance a family of 4-6 I'm pretty sure they're can be a apartment for that much in that

@oldrigenovy5 жыл бұрын
@@erinv1232 yeah? OK so he works let's say 10 hours a day, that's $120 a day if he works 5 days a week then... Oh well, you're right. Here In Mexico you'll be lucky to earn $120 a week
@Kaboomboo Жыл бұрын
Well his rent is only $375, so yeah if he makes $12.50 an hour and he probably works just under 30 hours a week, he could make up rent for an additional shift at work. 2 years is a long lease and he probably lives in a shady part of town since the complex seems to cater to single guys. Plus the apartment is pretty small. The stairs lead to just the bedroom most likely and as you see in the episode, the room is barely wide enough to accommodate a queen size bed. So yeah, it makes a little bit of sense.

Reese is a lot happy living in the apartment by himself even his brother Malcolm and Dewey are happy for him except for their older brother Francis who tried to convince their parents to let Reese back in the house even he tried to claim that Reese is being miserable at the apartment which is not true at all.
@ladyfire44 Жыл бұрын
I think the reason behind this was because of Hal and Lois's track records in kicking their children out. Francis pointed that out while confronting them. With his record being 28 to Reese's 10 and Malcolm's 6, it makes 44 kick outs with three different children and the only constant problem was Hal and Lois themselves. Francis did warn Dewey earlier that they may start doing this to him and Jamie one day.

This is when the backtrack to Francis character development started. I didn’t like that the writers worked so hard for him to have grown up for them to throw it away to make him just like Hal.
@erinv12325 жыл бұрын
Andy Duarte what do you mean “just like Hal”? How?
@treyoftriphorya5 жыл бұрын
Darth Stalker ends up in a cubicle just like Hal and marries a woman who’s mom don’t accept or respect just like how Hal’s family doesn’t accept nor respect Lois. Also has a high pitched girlish scream when running in fear like Hal.
@mohamadmahmoud69265 жыл бұрын
Andy Duarte but it’s kind of fitting he ends up like Hal though. Also I like his wife
@treyoftriphorya5 жыл бұрын
Mohamad Mahmoud but his development was realizing that his decision of going to Alaska was stupid and managing at the ranch was giving him funding and then being stupid enough to mail the taxes and bank payments into a non mail box bankrupting Otto. It made him look as stupid as Reese. Francis was just lazy not slow like Reese was, which was Hals fault when they reveal how each of them was affected during each of Lois Pregnancies. Francis matured then they backpedaled and made him live in the hood of which ever city he lived in at the moment trying to con his parents into co signing a 200 condo w fake alcoholism before he even turned 21.
@ladyfire44 Жыл бұрын
Season 6 was the worst though because the producers had Francis lose his job and end up having to care for Ida, whom he hates with a passion.
