As someone who grew up Christian Fundamentalist and had a severe fear of burning in hell, this song has impacted me more than almost any other. I always felt bad for the thief who hung on the cross next to Jesus. According to the gospel story, Jesus died but rose again, so really there's no sacrifice. But the thief was destined to suffer on the cross and be forgotten. I always felt more sorry for the thief than I did for Jesus, and that made me so scared that I would go to hell for feeling that way.

love this song. Malcolm had so much impact on how CAN developed as a band and made them a band that created a groove so uncommon for German music at this point.
