THE SOLID SILVER 60's SHOW - BIRMINGHAM - 22 April 2016.

We were sat way back in non tiered seats so this is video for fans only as a memento of the occasion. My chair was rocking backwards and forwards as the middle-aged couple next to me stamped their feet to the music threatening to break our block of 3 seats from bolts on the floor. My tiny Sony WX-80 camera did quite well in the circumstances. Copyright of the music featured resides with the respective owners in this non profit making video.

"Itsy Bitsy Bikini" made him famous... but probably kept him from being considered more than a novelty act. Too bad... he was talented and made a lot of very good records. We presented him in concert back in the early 90s and sent out a really nice press release. The newspaper ran it with the headline "The Itsy-Bitsy Man At the Park." That song turned out to be a true "double-edged" sword.
