Why so, what makes you say that? I don't think the population living there are absolutely clueless about such things nor would the government ignore. With such investments, Maldives wouldn't sink that easily nor would they let it. I would rather say it's always in a vulnerable state that can be taken care off with the technology that we have in today modern world.
