In 1990s my father took us to Maldives....at those days there was only 2 indian families ours as we entered male they were leaving anc told my dad .hey it's very expensive since we were really happy to see an indian family ...its heaven ...u should have stayed in Male the capital for 2 days and enjoyed the night life ...especially the tuna fish and hotels

Hi Saloni, loved the video. could you please clarify how many covid pcr tests one has to undergo during the entire trip? If I followed you right two tests for checking in at the resort (carrying one from India and one at the resort) and then another one for flying back to India. What would be the total cost of all these tests if one chooses to split the stay between two resorts. Do we need to do same tests for a 15 month baby?

We stayed on public island Maafushi for 4 nights 5days in kaani grand Seaview hotel and our total expenses were around 90k for couple including flights,food,cab,speed boat transafer, excursion and covid test (15k for couple) We didn't booked water villa as island hopping was restricted currently (we travelled in first week of feb) But i will recommend you to book at least 1 day in watervilla as maldives is famous for watervilla experience and as per current covid situation, watervilla day tours are also closed.

@@9towine782 As alredy mentioned above total cost for couple was around 90,000 INR including cab from home flights hotel stay covid test excursion , everything from A-Z In excursion we did swim with shark, sandbank tour, dolphin watching,shipwrek and submarine tour. Thats it we didn't do scooba nd all as we are non swimmers. Just done snorkeling

Hey ....us dollar is accepted at the resorts, most of the resorts are on prepaid basis though ...no cash required as such ...but u can get some currency exchanged before leaving
