After dropping 3 years and not getting a mbbs seat my parents still forcing me to drop one more year and I've lost all interest in medical field and taking my parents advice turned my life into horror. When we look back we think we could've made right decisions by listening to our parents but that's not the always case. According to my parents advice except a doctor no one else can or will get successful in their life.

I liked that you shared that you were also condescending to your parents and it is a big mistake to not listen to your parents and not take their advice. For me my 30s have helped me to be on a path in life which I enjoy and I know exactly what I want my life to be like. After my MBA I had the same notion which you spoke about and I used to think that I’m an IITian plus MBA then investment banking is for me cause I love numbers..how naive that thought was.
