The reason why the USA cant have *nice capsule hotels or nice things in general is because the general public does not take care of public property/private property. The average american vs average Japanese have very different cultural standards where respect for property and not damaging the fucking property is not even comparable. And is one of the reasons nice things cant be given to the people. Keeping stuff clean is another issue with americans. Seems to me americans dont keep the public property as clean as they should.

最近、初めてカプセルホテルに泊まってきました。まだできて2年位の千葉県西船橋市のレオ癒カプセルホテルって所です。アゴダって旅行サイト使って2,500円でしたが、こちらの心斎橋の方が全然広いですね～。テレビも大浴場もありませんでした。 チェックアウトギリギリのドタバタしてた女性ルームのロッカー室で、10分位目を離してる間に可愛い日傘を盗まれました、、のが少し悲しかったです。 大阪行った時は泊まってみたいです⭐️

Strictly speaking, a capsule hotel is not a hotel. By law, it is a "simple accommodation". Capsule hotels do not have a key because if they have a key, they become an "inn" and must clear various legal regulations. Thank you :)
