Flight attendants and pilots are extremely short staffed. They're working almost 14 hour shifts. I saw a lot of cowardice on that plane. Silence is compliance.

My stand point on that is that he was just trash talking, with these types, they try to escalate as much as possible, passengers should let the attendants do their job and get the dick off the plane as quick as possible, when other passengers intervene in a situation like this, the bozo then gets their escalation and another target to rant at and extending the time that everyone has to endure this vile crap. However, if the crazy starts to get physical with the flight crew, I’m all for an all in by any passenger who is capable of subduing the perpetrator. Just my opinion.

@@daggaboom Sorry but where have you been? That’s what happens when people make statements, drunk or not (and he’s not drunk). Airlines and the police take any comment like that seriously. They are removed from flights or barred from boarding. And usually, when someone “jokes” about a bomb”they end up deplaplaning everyone and search all luggage. Making a joke about “having a bomb” in an airport or on a plane, rightly, gets you arrested and added to the no fly list. That’s what happens. Fellow passengers and flight crew don’t need to hear some ass making jokes or drunkenly talking about bombs or air crashes. Sorry you think that’s “stupid” but that’s what happens to morons like that.

Those are some nice chair seats on the plane. I never understood how important someone can feel to be such an inconvenience to all the passengers. We do not know exactly how everything transpired but we see his drunken demeanor and condescending nature are just a mix for further entitled rude behavior. Who knows, maybe that was his breakdown, maybe he got fired and didn't quit - the toxic masculine characteristics of not accepting failure and vulnerability can lead to this entitled condescending behavior. And to be honest, I really believe that seeing how politicians on TV can talk to others (esp in the prior administration) woke up the beast inside people which was stopped before by some moral inhibition, now anything goes for some people.
