Im a father of 5 and have dealt with situations like this and you know what I did? I gathered the bigger kids together and spoke age appropriate to them and asked if they could help me out and watch out for the little ones please. When you speak to kids with respect and appeal to their good nature you will find that they are more than willing to help. It takes a village, Karen.

I agree when I was a on the town council and we had an issue with some of the older kids. I would go and talk to them over soda and crisps and see if you could come up with a way of dealing with whatever issue there was. Once you talked to them with respect and ask for their help the issue was resolved very fast

Except that kids are mischievous, and the big issue is that, to be frank, they play doctor. So, when you have a bunch of inquisitive 7-year-olds playing with hormonal 14-year-olds, it's hit or miss. You never really know what they're doing. You can talk to them respectfully or not until you're blue in the face. Some early teenage hormonal kids will prey on little kids. I'm sure it's happened to people reading this comment. That being stated, I'm not sure if it's even possible to separate the age groups. If you're bold enough to press the thumbs up if it's happened to you, more power to you.

it's strange, I'm told it's military housing//on post, which means they were waved on in by the MP's who stand guard at the stations and they just let them waltz right in and start yapping to those living on post, if true, everything she says is negated and everything the police said negated, due to it being post housing vs, off post//civilian housing, local laws do not have much effect when considering post housing is guarded and regulated by the feds//military police, *CID(if truly a crime/racket is going on, etc), etc, what's also strange, again, police waltzing around on post without any military police as an escort which is standard procedure and protocol there as well, since I've never EVER heard of civilian law enforcement being allowed to do anything much on post, unless an active crime in progress and the local//state police are given a court order approved then also by the feds to come on post and investigate, (this crap in vid is not worthy of the police being allowed on post, they would be flagged upon trying to enter, the gate would remain down/closed to them and they'd be ordered off the property immediately) makes no logical sense at all, if truly happening on post, this all must be playacting for click grabs then and all these people are military or spouses and dependants and playing dress up,

Let’s be clear, it wasn’t about older kids playing around hers, it was about black kids playing around her white kids. Veiled racism. I am half black, and half white and grew up in Central Florida. You’d be shocked how many times I’ve had the police called on me for being a kid and playing in the park or riding my bike, and the white people that called the cops on me were not shy about why they did. Even one of them I’ll never forget told the police that she didn’t want brown kids around her kids because she was afraid I would make her kid dumber. Her own kid defended me, and the cops themselves accosted her for being a racist. But it still happens now and it’s stupid.

There is definite “white privilege” and veiled racism in that woman’s actions. The two people she was speaking to prior to the arrival of the police are African American and despite not using any racial slurs she very well did use a demeaning tone and words towards them. Of course her husband is embarrassed. That was military housing. He’s realizing in that moment that either his marriage or his military career are coming to a premature ending. Like it or not, the future of your military career is very much dependent on your spouse, and he will never receive a NCO or flag promotion while married to her, because that man’s family are making trouble for subordinate’s families. Every future evaluation he receives will be overly polite and upbeat while focusing on his weaknesses, and he will eventually be forced out for failing to make the required rank for time in service. That petty display cost her family over a million dollars in pension and benefits over the course of her lifetime, and she’s not even cognizant enough to realize it.

No, there’s only punishment for when cops can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that someone made a false report, or if someone calls like 50 times in an hour unnecessarily there’s another charge for that for abusing emergency resources. But, as far as reporting something they think, in their deluded uninformed state, may be a crime: technically, while they are giving a false report, it’ll be hard to prove they did so intentionally, even if they did.

I really think police should give a ticket to people like this woman who call them to waste time because they are Karens and want the police to do something for them...I mean, my GOD woman! Is this not normal in America? Here in the UK all kids no matter what age just gather on the street and play games together. I had a whole group of friends growing up that I'd hang out with at different ages and the older ones would look out for us, something I always appreciated.

There's a single swath of grass and they want to dictate who can play on it and when. I miss the days of my childhood. The worst thing we had to worry about was stranger danger. Some neighbors would post helping hand signs in their windows to show a safe place. Can't do that today because bad people would pick up on it and abuse it. Hate and fear have ruined everything.
