Yeah they retrieved the vessel. Was actually collapsed and burned to the ground last night. Was said someone was living in the boat until a month or so ago.

I've heard a lot of the Lake Cumberland Marinas have had the same damage due to the weight of the ice sinking the docks and boats. So sorry for you guys and I know this is heart breaking. We came very close to this happening in Nashville,Tennessee last winter. My dock was on the verge of rolling over when the ice started melting. Jamestown is such a beautiful Marina. I assume State Dock got the same across the cove. I know Grider Hill did. I've been on area lakes for 30 years and had never seen this happen until last year. Wish you and your boating community the best in recovering from this tragedy.

Man, I watched this boat on the lake for years and years and here it is.. the end of it brought by a snow-weighted roof. Sucks. My dad's boat got the shaft too, or should I say the roof. Terrible this year.. the snow did this to a lot of docks on the lake.

Thank you for sharing this. It's horrible to see this, when there's nothing we can do. I hope we can get the roofs fixed and the docks stabilized before anything else tragic like this happens again... Such a shame.

What this guy obviously doesn't realize is that some of these boats are so low in the water because of the weight of the snow that what little wake he is creating could actually cause more boats to sink as a result.
