Yep - automaton gunships were added along with a huge update/balance patch today. The gunships are pretty comparable to the shriekers (flying bugs) in that they tend to stick close to their base and once it's destroyed they do not respawn. The only issue is - they have guns/rockets.... @@zunk1

Im level 25 and still have only up to difficulty 7. Playing mainly with randos is just not the most fun for me on the high difficulties. I prefer 5-6 becuase even random group can do well but if your not carefull you can still get pretty overwhelmed.

I did the Creek from level 3 to 24 and played every difficulty. I never really touched other automaton planets and when we finally liberated it the bugs and other planets felt WAAY easier. Playing in Ion Storms, Complex Stategem time increase, 3 strategems only and increased Automaton presence was pure hell. 😂

Automaton side, there's "The Creek." Terminid side, there's "The Mire." If you want to experience something about as bad, if not worse, go across the galaxy and dive onto Hellmire. Terminids swarm. They don't have as many ranged attacks, they just all want to get up in your business. That's not what makes the Mire difficult. What makes it difficult is it's environmental hazards you have to dance around while trying to dodge those bugs getting all up in your business. I won't spoil what it is, you'll just need to make a second video to find out.
