Finally picked up Maleventum Pompeii and downloaded it. Following along with the video, I notice that the soft release sliders don’t have any effect on the volume of the release as the manual says. Any help would be appreciated. This will help me shape the sound better as some of the releases are louder than others. Thanks

Hi there, thanks for purchasing Pompeii. Which of the two War Horn Builders are you using? The soft release sliders have been conceived to slightly moderate the release volume of some samples and avoid an abrupt transition.

@ Hello. You had responded to my email. If you like, we can continue communicating that way and hopefully get it worked out. Thanks for your reply!

Sounds awesome! I just bought Maleventum Epic War Horns, how much overlap is there with that library and this one?

hi, thanks a lot! I'd say that the main difference consists in the sound itself and the fact that Pompeii covers way more, as it has drums, new sound design modules and soloist instruments. Will release more walkthroughs soon 🙂

@@SilenceOtherSounds Hey, I am a big fan of SOS just like everyone else in the comments, and I also own Maleventum 1 and 2. But, this new version "Pompeii" doesn't have the same samples or recordings of the same horns in Maleventum 1 correct? These are different horns recorded in different locations, correct? I am just getting ready to pre-order but I wanted to double check. Love your libraries by the way!

@@justinreynoldscomposer hello there, thanks a lot for your words! correct, completely new samples recorded in a true ancient Roman environment (there are a few pics on the pre order page🙂)

@@SilenceOtherSounds I just set the pre-order! Very much looking forward to Dec. 8th for it's release! By the way, I like that this new library is a bit more involved, meaning in a musical sense it can be utilized to write scores. Keep these interesting libraries coming. I love how they invoke a feeling of being in a place or a time period, and take you into a different setting or in a different mind frame for composition!
