Malibu Sunrise | Malibu Rum Cocktail | Booze On The Rocks

Today on Booze On The Rocks I show you how to make the Malibu Sunrise. This Malibu Rum Cocktail is very easy to make. The pineapple and orange work well with the Malibu rum giving a sweet citrus coconut taste. And the grenadine gives you that fire of a beautiful sunrise.

MALIBU SUNRISE
2 oz/60 ml Malibu Coconut Rum
2 oz/60 ml Pineapple Juice
2 oz/60 ml Orange juice
.25 oz/7.5 ml Grenadine
Method
1. Add first three ingredients into the Shaker.
2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Add Grenadine to glass.
4. Add ice to the glass.
5. Fine strain everything from the shaker into the glass.
4. Garnish with an Orange Wedge and a Maraschino Cherry.

You can literally mix almost everything with Malibu and it just tastes good. Try a simple 2 ingredients: Malibu 1/3 and Apple Juice 2/3 - optional: ice

I make a variation of this called the Banana Malibu Sunrise- I use Banana Malibu and Pineapple Banana Orange (3 in 1) juice by dole

Technically because it is not a straight rum. It s is made with Caribbean rum and coconut flavored liqour. Its because its not a straight spirit. However it is listed as a rum where alowed.

It is a little sweet. However you can adjust the ratios to come to a sweetness level that you would enjoy. I would start with lowering the amount of grenadine.
