A few weeks ago, I started looking at the first mocks. Every one of them had Maye #2. And every one had MH Jr at the top of the non-QBs. Then, first, Daniels moved ahead of May on most mocks. Followed by people claiming that some teams liked Nabers ahead of Harrison. And in all that time, no games were played.

Teams take way too much stock in pro days IMO. I fully agree smokescreen season is in full effect. After the 1st pick, trying to bait a team into thinking you’ll take the player they want to make them trade up & offer a king’s ransom is the name of the game. Now how early they need to report all this to the NFL & ESPN for production/commercial/advertising reasons I don’t know.

Happens every year, every off-season. Much more time to watch tape and learn about college guys while games aren't being played. Plus, free agency happens, which can change a lot about the speculation.

All teams have to absolutely background check all would be pro athletes especially those coming from the hood because that's where 65% of the total violent crime comes from. Frankly I'm pissed because I had high hopes on Nabers possibly becoming a Charger.
