I think its opposite .They thrive on veggies algae/spirulina wafers. And if they eat meaty foods mostly they will have digestive issues . Fluval bug bites is best .

Cool vid, but with my experience with these type of fish is: the more you care the more problems you get. Less care less problems. When person is to much involved in the aquarium more stress for the fish. I see people use different type of methods to make them spawn, changing PH,TDS for me this is totally bul... I have l236 and 046 they spawn in PH above 8.5, TDS 250. When people read to much information they start to freaking out the fish with different chemicals putting in to water, but no people the success comes only and only with good filtration and water changing.

I feed once a day usually .. for smaller fish it’s better that u are feeding twice in smaller portions than one big portion once . Helps with growth . Cheers

Hi Malik, love your channel, I recently got some zebra pleco but I have other fish before. Please can you tell me some key points on setting up my tank. What’s the best sand to use and what’s the best fish to put in for tank mates please? Thank you. You’re doing great 😁

These L numbers have been in the hobby for decades and everyone here in Australia have great success without ebo sticks. All the food you don't recommend is all we have and still successful.

Where do you source your EBO aqauristik and Dr Basleets?
@AquaMalik
@AquaMalik 3 жыл бұрын
directly from the manufacturer shop in Germany! google "eboaquaristikshop" and you can select the english website from there! its a bit expensive on shipping but my fish are worth it!

I have not seen my 4 month old Zebra plecos eat. Should I be concerned? Maybe they eat at night? I feed after lights out. Any recommendations?
@AquaMalik
@AquaMalik 2 жыл бұрын
try target feeding the food where the fish are.. they sleep at night when lights are out contrary to popular belief!!! adding some dither fish like gupiies or tetra will help them feel more comfortable to come out!!! corydoras also seem to help! personally I feed my fish when the lights come on and they come out and eat! this can be achieved in your tank also by following the same simple steps!! I have many videos with details and examples on this topic which should also help! best!!! cheers!!
