draw 2 and have to reveal a dark in hand and if you do, you keep your entire hand including the revealed monster stays in hand, if you cant reveal a dark, you discard your entire hand

If you draw Engraver you start with Engraver, not Maliss cards. The real problem with the deck is Maliss doesn't bridge into FS cards like Ryzeal does with Ice since Maliss has no way to put 2 bodies on board without link locking themselves

Well im the Maliss bystial player Game 3 could’ve been played better My plan was to recycle lancea with firewall but realized that i need to empty opponent board to start playing so it will be way too many draws under fuwalos so decided not to do it and fair (Went dharc first because opponent could drop fuwa at end of bp) But still played poorly bc i should’ve ban magna to add it back with the lubellion in hand that I didn’t used the whole turn because i already had all my bystials in rotation Didn’t planned to face bystial so i didn’t realized i should ve use lub anyway Still went unlucky for opponent’s draws like the bysted punished me for not using lub, the topdeck of rabbit was perfect despite i shuffled it back with talent, and the last topdeck ash to beat my trap to banish was perfect Went unlucky on that but could’ve played better

Also in game 3 triggering branded regained cl2 on rabbit when they pay to summon back would have been a good play. Might have forced out their ash early, in which case your mtp would have gone through. If they don't ash it, then they're probably not making phoenix cause they would have to use their only maliss monster. They would have to go through lizard or splash mage to keep the maliss engine going and would not have had the discard outlet for lurrie. If they try druis effect to get another monster out, you have baldrake in hand to chain. Anyway, I think regained is really good in the deck hope this helps

Reading the comments makes me sick lol. Fiendsmith cards give you 2 extenders like the other engines but they are also giving your endboard annother layer while not requiring you to draw them. Also giving you even more follow up, a decent plan under lancea and an out to detonator go second. "_But you are linked locked_" ...

Unlike ryzeal can link or xyz into fiendsmith combo easily with ice, bonfire, fs, about 14 cards starter, if count bystials is 15-16, maliss can only go into fs boss (caesar, desir) with fs shit, under or not under lancea, about 5-7 cards if u play more than 1 tract, sometime topdeck dots under lancea, this is not a real engine in maliss, cut all of that and play impul and droll, extra deck dharc is better, and forget to tell, the fs version is so bad cuz more brick, more normal summons. The fs engine only work if you can easily go into it with no restrict ( 2mons, no res), not have 5 starters and u can think u can draw that shit if op have lancea, a fking fuwalos nibiru in hand is more valuable, and maliss is not a control mid game deck, no need grind game. This deck is a combo deck, otk every deck with one card like a little worse tenpai but can make a better 1st board, that is all

Don’t understand the comments at all. Maliss Fiendsmith is clearly the most powerful version of this deck. If you value the extra space and utility you get from cutting them, that’s fine, but saying it has a worse end board or that you have to open the engine is just dumb. Especially because there isn’t an engine with the deck the Maliss cards get to naturally, you have to draw all of them lol
