Waiting to see you do a victereebel/poke flute deck. That pairing is nuts. Commanding your opponents moves is crazy. And flute to bring back and then re destroy in front of them and they can't stop it is crazy. Vic line x2 egg line x2 celebi x1 leaf x2 pokeball x2 professor x2 Erika x2 poke flute x1 stalling with the stinky egg tree. And pivoting between the two hopefully an early KO so bele can come in and do it's thing after bringing back a base to re ko. Celebi can be used to pivot and hopefully do high damage if needed.

So far the only Bad mash ups i really had is gyarados and druddigons combo, maybe with blue can work better so aero ex or kabutops survive at 10 hp a hit

I wouldn't remove Misty, rework it so it acts like Brock where you can put 1 water energy on a Water Pokemon, that would nerf it enough without nerfing it into extinction so would be no coin flips.

Naaaaah you don’t understand, the only reason Brock is underwhelming is because it’s only usable on Golem and Onix, which can’t Snowball in the early game. If you give Misty a guaranteed 1 energy to any water Pokemon it would actually be MORE broken than it is right now I’m my opinion. I know Misty gets a lot of hate but I think it’s balanced honestly. Like a very good card, should be in every water deck, but you still have to risk wasting your supporter play of the turn for a 50% shot at doing literally nothing. And it’s not like flipping 11 heads is any more powerful than flipping 5 unless you have Vaporeon on the bench. Heck, I would rather have a 1 heads Misty first turn than a 3 heads Misty halfway through the game most of the time.

Wait what? You mean, a guaranteed water energy with no coin flip? On every single water Pokémon? This is even crazier. The current effect atleast goes wrong 50% of the time and only 25% of the time will you receive more than one heads (which doesn't even matter if your Pokémon only needs one more energy to be ready) . But a guaranteed free water energy increases the consistency and thus power level of water decks by a ton. Suddenly you can have Gyarados-EX ready in two. Suddenly Starmie-EX is set on turn 2 even when going first. Articuno-EX will always get its first attack ready in turn one when going second. Brock being generic would be just as cracked. There's a reason Gardevoir and Serperior are that cracked, because they essentially give you 1 free energy per turn.

I am also not a misty fan, but I dont think she needs to be removed from the game. I think one of the main issues that could fix the card is by updating it to say that it cannot be used on your first turn of the game, that way, even if you go second, use it and only get one heads, you can't immediately hit with articuno ex for 40 before the other person has even had a chance to play energy. And god forbid if you get any more than 1 energy on your first turn cause that's just salt in the wound.

Misty is just unfun, is the most rng card of the Game, for better AND worst, maybe instead it could do all energies in all pokemons is at random to all pokemons in bench, and if You target the active maybe for both players, but You having priority, that making Misty vaporeon more important and is less instantaneus

Probably, i managed to draw all My deck before the second investigation, and with little luck it should be the Best way to counter gyarados ex, the worst mash up of this deck so far, i'm considering Even use blue to survive at 10 hp vs gyarados

Thanks for cooking up a great deck as always! I’ve tried this a couple times and when you can pull it off, it absolutely destroys Aggro Blaine, and Dark type decks. One idea I had yesterday that can sometimes beat even Gyarados if they stall long enough is a Poliwrath Charizard combo with Drudd. Chatot could totally help that deck too, but they are also stage 2s

Fossils not being searchable really hurts the deck. Maybe setting up a wall with druddigon until you can draw into them might be good? Idk, if they release a search card for the fossil items then maybe these decks can become viable.

Chatot shuffling... i actually used dumb cards like dex and scope just to empty my hand, llighten the deck to optimize drawing the fossils. Red card is great here aswell to disrupt while shuffling for 3 draws Obviously sacrificing useful cards like sabrinas. GIO is great with kabutops cuz you heal/damage 60

If they want to keep it like it is, it should be limited to some Pokemons, like Brock is limited to Golem and Onix. Brock gives 1 energy and is limited, Misty is often giving 3-4 energy to any Pokemon.. and even 2 is game changing. I would make Misty to give 1 energy only and to any water pokemon. Same for Brock but other type

Man i just got my second aerodactyl and tried this deck, first Game with this list, a 29 turns long fight with a Mewtwo deck!!! xD it was stupidly funny, kabutops is a perfect loop vs Mew ex, and i managed to hurt both mewtwos so was at k range of aero, 2 gardevoirs, 1 Mew ex at 8 energies, 1 Mewtwo ex, and Even a baby Mewtwo and he still lose xD

7:30 thats actually a misplay by u, u shud discard that dome fossil. u have dactyl out and he only had 2 70hp mons. if u have nothing on the board but dactyl he cant sabrina either.. so u guantee win inside 2 turns. luckily he didnt have sabrina in hand or draw tho 👍

Misty needs a serious rework. As is, it should only guarantee 1 energy and coin-flip for the 2nd, but unable to use on Basic mons. This removes a significant chunk of BS RNG and provides the opponent a decent opportunity to compete (whilst also increasing the average misty flip). Starmie may be a menace, but no more than it already is..

@solidzack Articuno is Basic, so it isn't compatible with Articuno in my recommendation. The idea is preventing Round 1-2 KOs where the loser never had a chance.

And with Vaporeon on the bench it wouldn't even matter if you used it on an evolution, since you could just transfer them back to your lead.

The comparison becomes: Misty - Average of 1.5 energy on all water-types, but delayed usage (no basics). Brock - Guaranteed 1 energy on select rock types with faster tempo. Brock still feels lesser, but he's becoming much stronger with new Golem. The problem Misty is more futureproof..

Just make Misty like Brock. But not for Starmie Ex. Two energy is too easy to fulfil. Should be for those that need 3 energy and above - Lapras, Blastoise and Gyarados. (Skipping Articuno because it is Basic + has a 2 energy skill.) I'm a water deck player, but would be totally happy with this change guaranteeing me an energy each time. 😂

I made a deck that I called Fossil Frenzy, and I ran all of the fossils, 2 Aerodactyl EX, Mew EX, Chatot and the new Golem Line. It's really bad because it became really weak to a Sabrina late game. I still managed to win with that jank, which is kind of funny.
