I really appreciate how relatively clean and functional your mobile base is, especially compared to the silliness of my own efforts. Trying not to get too far into the weeds (pun intended): The Food Farm will have the highest average Seed yield. Bush farms: the highest average Branch and Leaf yield. Tree farms: best for logs. The yields for each will increase AND expand to include newer items with each upgrade tier.

Nice, didn't take much notice of seed yield but makes sense. I think my farm ratio is out of whack and the requirement is too high to remain sustainable. And thanks! It's a big wedge but the base is serviceable. I think I might look into some more ambitious/silly builds at a later time :P

the bridge between the third city and the 4th one( the one you`ve traveled at 12:20) is a great place to build another base, I tend to build in there for late game as it is in the center of the late game cities and I`m only one city away from both the dessert and the tundra, another perk is that it`s large enough to not bug out giant zombies and yet narrow enough to establish a choke point for the horde. Another thing great at this area is that you can build down the water and travel via boat giving you a better time to travel between the late game cities and the early game ones. As for the electricity, I often do a 2 solar panel with a wall in between and above the wall is a wind generator, with these setup my power is increased while I keep more space available

That would be a good spot; having a base for late/end game is tough since you still kinda need to go between the snow and desert biomes to maximize output of resources, unless you go wayyy overboard to compensate. Like, having 20 mining machines in the western grassland, or as many farms in the desert.

the other resource table is where you make gold bars , 3 ingots per bar . just gotta wait for a good day at the bank to sell, merging the weapons/armour is annoying

Oh is there another table where you craft it? Thanks for pointing that out, I will check it out. And yeah I was thinking about the values; would it be profitable to buy things from a vendor to craft gold and make a profit, and the answer seems like no if it takes 3 ingots.

@@Genosis it’s the crafting bench at level 3 , it’s where you can also make bundles to sell too , good for when you have an excess of paper and pieces of iron With the selling of gold related stuff , you really want it to be at 150W sell rate and above , you can use the mine kiosk (desert preferably with a motorbike to the desert bank with a L3 Bench) you wanna buy 3xGold ingot for 50 each , make into a bar and sell it for a profit , Subconscious did a whole video on it in his last season , probably explains it better When being out and about , I think the only place that sells plasma sword or shield is the mall for 60W , so it’s not a profit

Not spending alot of time in the mall is a worthwhile ideal, but really hard to do. Need to go all the weay to the 3rd floor to get all the kiosks.

Love your commitment to attempting to kill every bird you see - however if you build a few bird traps at base you won’t have any issues with feathers/bird bones. Build the bird nest as normal, then a frame (vert post+horizontal post) just above it. Attach a simple wooden cross/spike trap to the frame and voila! Bird trap. As birds fly in to nest, they land on the spikes just above and die. Infinite feathers/bird bones. Love this update mate! Your mobile base is superb! Was it possible to make the front angle out of solar panels are did they overlap the crafting stations inside?

Quite possible, I could have that instead of ramps. Not like it takes impact damage! As for birds yeah, just would rather take a second and snipe them rather than pay those kiosk prices :P

So is there a setting to stop the nightly hoards so I can actually explore and enjoy the game I'm not keen on being forced to fight a nightly hoard the game then becomes just a grind no fun at all

Yep, there is a "no wave" option in the difficulty settings, first option in fact.

I dunno if I can make it look better while being serviceable lol. I could dramatically expand it outward and make a more interesting and aesthetic shape, but it would be very unwieldy. However, considering the hitbox remains the original APC size, it seems the rules of physics go out the window and going large wouldn't cause any issues other than visibility.
