@Genosis, so glad you doing this again! With the bowls, if you have it in your hand, walk up to a tree to get tree sap, it gives you a stamina boost and it can stack to 8 min if I remember correctly, it is an easy way to keep your stamina up early game

I'm on vanilla with horde night off/feral sense all the time and i got the wandering horde mod set to 40 zeds max. Hordes that side are very interesting when you're in the basement of a house with minimal ways out 😂

Btw, I wonder how difficult it would be for a modder to make a portable machinegun turret. What I mean is like a junk turret, but with the model of one of the static turrets, using 9mm or 7.62 ammo etc, and able to accept mods like a junk turret. Based on my limited understanding of game mechanics it _should_ be possible to do, the question is how complicated it is to make it work.

Since you read the forge ahead book, you should have the forge available to you. Since the books are different in DF, you should probably have access to both a workbench and forge. Just need the resources - I'd wrench the tablesaw and any other workbenches to get the forged iron. Second item - I didn't see if you took a quest from the guard to start progressing that quest line. I tend to grab a job from both the trader and the guard to get resources. Finally the guard has medical resources for sale if you need something.

Just remember the more zombies you kill the faster you will progress and right now you really don't have the better weapons to deal with them.

That wight was a beast. I thought it would have taken that sign down. Good episode. It looks like some of the hidden sleepers get triggered by moving over certain blocks with stealth not affecting them. That sucks. Something that needs to be addressed from the game code.

You can get coffee from coffee machines in vanilla as well. It is not common anymore, but it happens sometimes.

Feral, radiated wights should always drop either a blue bag or a red bag. They're harder to kill that the zombie bear because those will lose track of you quickly. Wights don't.
