Thanks so much. The wind can be unpredictable all year round (though mostly okay), this video was shot just last week and yesterday we’ve had 25mph winds. Personally, I’d leave them at home - my deep section rims have sat unused since I moved here!

Such great footage! Mallorca is still on my list. Girona was awesome, but this seems even better. How is the weather come March?

Thanks so much. I've not been in March, but April is very good, albeit chilly in the mornings and with some chance of rain. I expect it's not too dissimilar from November - though, my brothers were lucky with the weather on their visit. I was in Girona in March and it was a bit of a wash out! While there's definitely more to offer younger cyclists trying to live and train in Girona (owing to cheaper rents etc.), personally, I think the riding here is better.

I use a 50/34 with a 34 on the back. Not sure about the others as they were on rental bikes, but I expect it is the same. I wouldn’t say it’s vital to have such easy gearing, since the majority of the climbs are around the 6% gradient, but on a long day it helps. Cheers

I did not...fortunately, someone else did. My brother and his phone were reunited at the end of the day. My extra lap to the lighthouse was wholly unnecessary, though, great to meet you!
